I can still remember sweating profusely in that hot car. It was like the car was moving in slow motion! I was so anxious to get there. All of the sudden, we set off like a bullet!  

It was me, my brother, and my friend. We were cramped inside a hot car traveling to Ocean City, Maryland. The car was so small It could only fit two people, but there were three of us.    

‘’Ow!’’ cried my brother after he got elbowed in the arm. ‘’It's too small,’’ cried my brother! As we were cramped in the car.  

‘’You can deal with it,’’ I told him. It was a hot car ride and tension was rising quickly in that rotten automobile. It was depressing me, and I was very unenthusiastic.    

‘’Cheer up,’’ my friend said trying to persuade me.    

‘’Ya, we only have four more hours left!’’ My brother squealed sarcastically.    

‘’Well,’’ I said, ‘’Is there anything interesting or fun to do?’’  

‘’Of course not!’’ My brother cried, while he turned his face to the windows.  

‘’I'm taking a nap.’’ My friend yawned.  

‘’Me too.’’ I agreed, even though I wasn’t tired...  

I woke up an hour later two long hours to go. So just to make my brother angry I said, ‘’Are you awake’’ as loud as I could.  

‘’I was sleeping!’’ I heard my brother complain.  

‘’Deal with it!’’ I mocked him in a frustrated tone.  

  ‘’Just wait until you fall asleep,’’ my brother threatened.  

‘’That's enough!’’ said the driver. Did you know that 80 percent of car accidents happen like this? After that we both fell silent.    

‘’You woke me up!’’ said my friend moments later.    

‘’It was his fault!’’ whined my brother.  

‘’ It was your squeaky voice that woke him!’’ I fired back.  

‘’Well there's no use arguing now, ‘’ my friend said. I remembered how peaceful and felt very guilty. My train of thought was broken by the driver as she shouted, 

‘’Only one more hour to go!’’ Pheww! That’s a relief I thought to myself. This dreadful car ride is almost over.  

‘’I'm hungry,’’ whined my brother even though he already ate everything we packed.    

‘’ We only have an hour until we get there!’’ The driver repeated. I recalled from past experience how long it takes to travel through states.  

‘’Don't worry we will arrive soon!’’ said the driver as if she could read my mind.    

‘’I hope so!’’ my brother said. Then all of the sudden we entered a massive bridge that crossed a huge lake. Also, did you know that only six percent of bridges have water under them?  

‘’Woah!’’ we all said as we crossed the bridge, and on the other side of that bridge was Ocean City, Maryland! Once we were in the city we navigated to our hotel.    

‘’This is by far the nicest hotel I’ve ever seen!’’ I said to my friend.    

‘’let's go to the beach!’’ I said, and we all sprinted to the ocean. 

Since I had so much fun, I hope that everyone can have a fun beach trip or something similar to the in their life time!
