Hi everyone! My name is Allen, and I live on Pluto!I love going on adventures, and
learning new things. Let's see where
today takes us.

Allen was a very curiousalien. He was home schooled,
so he didn't get out often.One day he saw a big bright
round object, that seemed to
be pink and orange in the
distance.

Allen's curiosity got the best of him so thenext day he decided to jump into the family
spaceship and head out to see
what it was.

As Allen approached, he could see that it was a planet.
He wasn't sure which one though, because
he hadn't gotten that far in Science yet.

Hi! I'm Mercury, what's your name?
Hi! My name is Allen.I traveled here from
pluto, where I live with
my mom, dad, brother, and
sister. Mercury: So Allen, what brings you to these parts of the
universe?
Allen: I saw your planet through my window, and now I want
to travel to all planets to meet them and see what they look
like.

Well, If you keep traveling North,you will run into my friend Venus.
Thanks Mercury! I willtell him you sent me. Do
you know how far it is?

26 million miles later Allen reached Venus. It was prettier
than he imagined. It was
bright red and orange with a
hint of purple. He loved it and
had never seen anything so beautiful.

Venus was not home at the time, soAllen decided to keep traveling north.
He eventually landed on Earth.
Hi! My name is Allen.I came from visiting Mercury
and Venus.
Oh yes, Mercury toldme you were headed this way. You
sure have traveled a long way in one
day. By the way, my name is Earth.
Allen: If I did my calculations right,Itraveled 51 million miles just to get here.
Its 25 million miles from Venus to here.

After Allen and Earth visited with eachother, Allen got into his spaceship and set off for
Mars... the last planet among the stars.
He had to travel 62.6 million miles to reach
mars.
