Barbara spent everyday doing the exact same things with the exact same routine. She got up everyday and ate her cereal before leaving for school.

Once she was at school, she talked with her same friends Sara, Beth, and Kelly. She loved them very much, however, she felt as if she needed some excitement in her daily routine.

She woke up one St. Patrick's Day morning and ran downstairs to see if the leprechauns had visited her. She saw some chocolate coins in her shoes and started digging to the bottom of the goodies.

Underneath her gold coins she found a note.
The note read:
Dear Barbara,
We have noticed that you are eager for some excitement in your life. We invite you to take a trip through the rainbow with us. If you accept, look outside!
Love, your Leprechaun family

Barbara runs to the window, and much to her surprise...she sees 3 leprechauns outside. All three of them were different colors of the rainbow.. There was red... yellow... and even her favorite blue!

The red leprechaun walked up to her:
"Hello Barbara! Would you like to start your adventure?"
Barbara responds:
"Yes! I'm ready to travel through the rainbow, but what exactly does that mean?"
The yellow leprechaun responded:
"Don't you worry about that just yet!"

Barbara followed the red leprechaun over to a pot of gold.
"Jump in!" He said.
They both climb into the pot and disappear. Barbara suddenly appears in a whole new world.
"This is Red Land!" the red leprechaun says.
In this land, the people here value manners. They always say their pleases and thank yous to other people. They hold doors open for others and also try to help people in times of need.
"Oh my that lady dropped something over there!" Barbara exclaimed. "Should I pick it up for her?"
"She looks like she needs help. Go ahead!" The read leprechaun replied. "You've already got the hang of this Barbara!"
Barbara ran over and helped the woman pick up her item. As she handed it to her, Barbara suddenly appeared in a whole new world.
"Welcome to Yellow Land!" the yellow leprechaun from her backyard exclaimed as he popped into view.
"Hello!" Barbara responds.
In yellow land, people value being kind to others. They believe that if you are kind to others, it will help you be more confident with yourself. Nothing good comes out of being mean to people!
"That boy over there looks like he is having a bad day! Should I go give him a compliment in order to cheer him up?" Barbara asked.
"Barbara, such as quick learner. Go right ahead!" Said the yellow leprechaun.
Barbara walked up to the little boy and said:
"You have a really cool shirt on today."
The boy turned to her and smiled:
"Thank you very much!" He said.
Before the conversation continued, Barbara's world took a turn again!
