NOW PLAYING: THE REVENGERS: THAT'S IT

"Alright boys, enjoy the movie. I'll be back in a few hours to pick you up." "Thanks Mom. Let's go fellas!" an excited Rowan shouted. "Revengers Rally!" they all yelled in unison as they made their way into the theater. Rowan and his two best friends, Jay and Cameron were huge comic book fans. They rushed out to see every superhero movie at the local theater. But there was something special about this movie. It was going to be the biggest superhero blockbuster ever. It had hundreds of heroes and promised lots of action.

Okay now I'm getting excited. Let's continue with the story shall we?

The boys purchased their tickets and stood in line for some snacks. Both Jay and Cameron bought big bags of popcorn and large sodas. "Aren't you getting anything Rowan? The movie is over 3 hours long" Cameron inquired. "I'm going to sneak in a big bag of Nibbles. Yummy little licorice bits." "I don't know if that's such a good idea" Jay warned. "It's no big deal. I'll just put it in my pocket, give the guy my ticket, and then open them once we get to our seats. Now let's go save the universe!"

The trio of friends walked up to the usher who took their tickets. "Enjoy the show" he said to the boys. "Have you seen the movie?" Jay asked. "Like 15 times! It's awesome!" the usher raved. When it came time for Rowan to present his ticket he was stopped by the usher. "Just a moment sir." "Go on ahead with me boys. I'll meet you inside. What's the problem?" "Theater security has alerted me to the fact that you're trying to sneak in some Nibbles, that delightful licorice treat." "No way! I bought these at the concession stand." "Can I see your receipt sir?" "I, uh......" Rowan made a break for it as he fled into the nearest theater to evade the usher.

"MY DELICIOUS!"

Rowan desperately searched for somewhere to hide but the entire theater was full. He was forced to sit in the front row as the Coming Attractions began to play. Suddenly a giant hand reached out and snatched the Nibbles from Rowan. "What the heck? Gimme back my Nibbles!" As Rowan tried to retrieve his candy he noticed that something was pulling him inside the giant movie screen. The hand taunted him some more with the Nibbles before Rowan lunged for the candy. Having fallen on his face, Rowan dusted himself off only to be astonished by what he saw.

THEATER TWO: LORD OF THE ONION RINGS

"We wants it. We needs it. Must have the delicious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little Revengers. Wicked. Tricksy. False!" "Um, hello? My name is Rowan. Can I have my bag of Nibbles back?" "LEAVE NOW AND NEVER COME BACK! NO! WE DON'T NEED YOU!" "Uh, yeah. Who are you talking to?" "Sollix has no use for your candy. You are free to go." The odd creature handed Rowan back his bag of Nibbles. "Uh, sure" Rowan muttered, a little freaked out by what he had witnessed. As he started to walk away, Rowan could hear the same sinister voice demanding he bring back 'My delicious.' So he ran, tightly holding on to his precious bag of candy.

THEATER THREE: BUCCANEERS OF THE BAHAMAS

As he made his way to the next screen, Rowan found himself in a puddle of water. "Oh oh! I think I had an accident!" "T'was no accident Matey. I rescued ye from the angry sea." "Who are you?" Rowan asked the bizarre pirate holding a parrot. "I be Coleridge 'Albatross' Thornton at yer service." Rowan felt around his pockets and noticed that his Nibbles were missing. "Did you happen to see a bag of Nibbles?" "Arrrh! That booty was stolen by the most nefarious pirate on the high seas, Carver 'Salty Dog' Mace and his band of buccaneers." "I thought pirates were only interested in gold." "The Salty Dog has a real sweet tooth. Literally, he only has one tooth."

"How do we find this 'Salty Dog'?" "We don't. He just found us." A series of cannonballs were fired from Carver Mace's pirate ship sinking Thornton's boat. Rowan and Thornton started to tread water as the ship sink into the deep blue sea. "Now what Coleridge?" "Get ready for an epic sword duel with some of the nastiest, scurviest dogs you'll ever meet." "All that for a bag of licorice?" "Tis no ordinary licorice landlubber. After months of eating nothing but raw fish, there is no taste sweeter than a bag of Nibbles." The pair were pulled out of the ocean and thrown onto the deck of the ship, setting the stage for a super-cool sword fight."

GIGLI

"Welcome aboard! I reckon yer here for the Nibbles?" "Yes please" Rowan nervously replied. "Bah! Yer gonna have to earn them by defeating the most feared pirates of the seven seas, The Raiders of the Lost Ocean!" "Ahem, your fly is open Captain" one of the pirates whispered. "Arrh! So it 'tis! Let's duel!" Thornton began fighting with the ornery crew. Rowan was unable to lift his sword. It was too heavy for a boy his age. As he struggled with the blade, Thornton's pet parrot Sinbad grabbed the Nibbles from the Captain's metal hand. In all of the confusion, Rowan accidentally knocked over a cannonball which was set to detonate at any moment.

THEATER FOUR: FOSSIL FOREST

Rowan dove off the ship but before he hit the water, he found himself being lifted into the sky. He was in the clutches of a Pteradactyl. "Put me down!" Rowan screamed. During the struggle, he dropped his bag of Nibbles which landed on the ground below. Eventually the Pteradactyl let go of Rowan who came crashing down through the trees onto the dirt floor. He wasn't seriously injured but the fall had knocked the wind out of him. He briefly closed his eyes as he attempted to catch his breath. When he opened them again, he kinda wished he hadn't.

While he had miraculously found his Nibbles, Rowan was also inches away from a snarling T-Rex. The ferocious dinosaur unleashed a blood-curdling roar that sent chills down Rowan's spine. The T-Rex  looked as though he was ready to eat Rowan as he opened his massive jaws. But it wasn't Rowan that he was hungry for, it was the sweet licorice treat in the young boy's hand. A stegosaurus stumbled upon the scene wanting to get some Nibbles for himself. This distracted the T-Rex allowing for Rowan to escape through the trees and plants. He came upon an ancient temple and slammed the door just as the vicious T-Rex tried to take a massive bite out of him.

THEATER FIVE: MINNESOTA SMITH & THE TEMPLE OF UH OH!
