Christian church that was a focal point in Constantinople's city's architecture. During Justinian the Great's rule, who was aiming to restore and revitalize the great city.

Scholar from Morocco who knew Islamic law very well. His travels made him very well known and popular among historians. Helped shed light on past African societies.

is for Jewish Diaspora

The spreading of Jews throughout the Medditeranean and Middle East. Jews were forced to leave their homes by Assyrians and Babylonians, then returned to new leadership in 539 B.C.E.

The Mongol word for King. Many leaders were designated as khans throughout their lifetime. In 1206, Temujin gathered all chiefs and was named Genghis Khan or "ruler of all".

Location where Bantu speaking people met and interacted with nomadic pastorals in 2000 B.C.E. Migration soon ended after moving south of Lake Victoria.

Grand nephew of Sundiata, religious leader during the 14th century. Went on a religious journey to Mecca and allowed his devotion to Islam to flourish, while now establishing religious schools.
