My story is based on Infantcy: Birth to 12 Months

From the moment a child is born the road to their education begins.
Yes, that's right their brain begins to gather information from the very first minutes in this world.

Now lets talk about the different milestones of Cognitive Development

Cognitive Development Milestones
1, Being able to identify sounds and voices, such as the noise of the door or car to mommy and daddy voice.
2, Being able to reach for a toy and put it in their mouth. This is ignorant because it shows the child has discovered their hands and mouth.

3, Shows interest in a mirror and in their reflection, it gives them the opportunity to recognize them self.
4, Responds to own name is one of the biggest milestones.

The big secret of a baby,is that they develop the majority of their language development the first year of their life.

Language Development Milestones
1, Begins to babble words such as "bababa", "oooooooh", "aaaaaaaah".
2, Begins to imitate words such as "oh"

3, Use voice to express feelings and needs.
4, Says "Mama" and "Dada"

Besides developing these different domains and milestones. What does a baby do all day? A baby does Four main things Feeding, sleeping, diaper changing, and Playing

The average day of an infant involves feedings, diaper changes, sleeping and plenty of tummy and floor time. An infant at any age will let you know when its time for a bottle and a diaper change or if their tired usually by crying. Infants like to play and put everything in their mouth which is normal for their age. This improve their hand-eye coordination.

Through tummy and floor time is how they develop their cognitive and physical skills. They learn how to sit, stand and reach for objects. Walking and crawling is also learned through play. Interacting with adults and peers is a great way to develop language. A babies day is full of learning and development.

Being a baby is hard work, but someone has to do it!
The End!
