INTRODUCTION
This book will introduce the Founding fathers and Revoultionaries of The United States and what role they played in Independence and how they influenced U.S policies

Born in Braintree,Mass and a Law graduate from Harvard, John Adams was one of the most important leaders of the American Revoultion. He was one of the five delegates chosen to represent Massachusetts in the First Continental Congress. He was known for his strong outcries against The British imposed Stamp Act.He signed the Declaration of Independence. He was the first Vice President and the Second President to be elected of the United States of America.
JOHN ADAMS (1735-1826)

Although he himself did not participate in the battlefield of war there is no denying Adams played a crucial role in the drafting the foundation of The American Government to the extent that Thomas Jeferrson called him "The Colossus of Independence"
"Liberty once lost,
Is Lost forever"
-John Adams
Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826)

As you noticed in the previous page Thomas Jefferson giving a title to Adams is considered a huge deal and that's because Jefferson drafted and wrote the Delclaration of Independence. He represented Virgina and also became it's second Governer of State. He was also the first Secretary of State and the founder of the Democratic and Republican Party. He was the third president of the U.S and under his presidency he organized the Louisiana Purchase that doubled the size of the country.

Retiring after serving two presidential terms,Jefferson established the University of Virgina and also the Library of Congress for which he donated his own personal Library.Jefferson passed away on the 4th of July which is ironic as he wanted to be remembered as the author of the Declaration of Indpendence.
"I'm a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it."
-Thomas Jefferson
John Marshall (1755-1835)

Born in Faquier,Virgina,John Marshall is an important figure in the history of America's Judicial System as he is responsible for upholding the principle of "Judical Review" which allowed courts to terminate federal and state laws if they contradicted the constitution. During his early years he also served in the continental army, first as a lieutenant and then as a captain.Prior to joining the Supreme Court as the longest running Cheif Justice,he was the United States Secretary of State.

This statue which was approved by congress in 1882 honors John Marshall as one of the most influential people for the U,S Supreme court by establishing it as a third and equal branch of the government through his rulings.
"The Constitution is colorblind, and neither knows nor tolerates classes among citizens."
-John Marshall
