This book is dedicated to Ms. Speck. She has given me time and a lot of chances to complete this book. A kind and supportive teacher.
Thank you so much for ever thing.

The human body is made of many different body systems. A body system is groups of organs and tissues that work together to perform important jobs for the body.

Hello there everybody!
I will be your guide for today. Let us have fun and enjoy the trip!

Today, we are going to learn about two systems; the Nervous system and the Endocrine system.
These two here, Bule 1 and Bule 2, will be in charge of demonstration and helping me.

Hi!
The function of the Nervous system is to send and receive communication and information within the body.

This system contains two important organs, the brain and spinal cord. Organs are the body's recognizable buildings that operate particular functions. An organ is made of different kinds of tissue and therefore several types of cells.

You can think of the nervous system as the post office in a city because the Nervous system is responsible for communication in the human body, the post office sends and receives important mail instructions.

In fact the Nervous system can transmit signals at speeds of 100 meters (328 feet) per second.

The Endocrine system is the gland compilation that produces hormones that, among other stuff, control metabolism, growth and development, tissue function, sexual function, reproduction, sleep, and mood.

This system contains two important organs, hypothalamus (hy·po·thal·a·mus)...

...and pineal body (pin·e·al) that are important to the function of the system.

Good job you two, that's correct! And now for an interesting fact...
