It is spring!
Squirrel woke up early in the morning and saw that the sun was shining bright.
When she crawled down from her tall tree, she landed on soft, green grass, decorated with dozens of tiny wildflowers.
"It is spring!" Squirrel exclaimed.

I love when people visit my park!
Spring is Squirrel's favorite season. Everything looks so beautiful!
Flowers are blooming all around. The trees have plenty of acorns for Squirrel to gather.
The weather is pleasant, so lots of people visit Squirrel's park during the spring.

It's raining! Time to go back home!
It rains a lot during the spring.
The rain helps the flowers and trees grow, but Squirrel does not like getting wet.
To stay dry from the rain, Squirrel will go back to her tree and go to sleep.

Yawn

Squirrel climbed up her tall tree and snuggled into her cozy nest.
"Now to catch some shut eye!" Squirrel yawned.
Squirrel's tree keeps her dry from the rain so she can get a good night's sleep.

It can't be summer already!
It was just spring yesterday!
When Squirrel woke up the next morning, she left her tree to find that it was a very hot day.
The sun was shining even brighter than the day before. The air felt thick and moist.
Could it be summer already?

Sure enough, it is summer!
Squirrel scurried over to the swimming hole near her park to find it full of people swimming and playing in the water to cool off.
Hiding behind a pail and shovel, Squirrel wondered how this was possible.

"I went to sleep yesterday and it was the first day of spring, but when I woke up it was the first day of summer," Squirrel thought out loud.
"Maybe this is just a dream. I'll go back to bed and when I wake up tomorrow it will be spring again!" Squirrel decided as she climbed back into her tree and settled into the nest.

Squirrel woke up the next morning and it is no longer summer! But it isn't spring either.
The air feels crisp and chilly, and the leaves on all the trees are changing colors and falling off.
It is fall! Squirrel found a nearby pumpkin that is as big as she is!
