Long ago, there was a man who held the power of creation inside of him. Many feared him ever since he was just a small child. Back then, he didn't know how to control his powers. He would slash it out on people on accident. The town where he grew up, Grimville, was terrified of him. Even the man's parents feared him. His name was Leopold Roberts.  

The boy wasn't as lonely as you think, he had one person who understood him and stuck by his side. It was his only friend since childhood. Her name was Maddison. They did everything together. Maddison helped Leopold become more outgoing and open. When Leopold grew up, he left his hometown without saying goodbye to her. They haven't talked to each other since.

The reason why Leopold left his hometown was that he always felt out of place. He wanted to find a place where he can feel accepted. So, he kept hopping from one town to the next, meeting different people. When Leopold stumbled across a town named West Creekrock, he heard rumors about his hometown. An elderly lady told him that Grimville turned into a ghost town. Everyone who lived in the town had disappeared. Leopold had Maddison in the back of his mind, worried for her. He headed back to Grimville. 

As Leopold walked through his hometown, the rumors seemed to be true. Not a person in sight. Leopold did not want to believe what was happening. To make sure what he was seeing was true, he went to Maddison's house that was outside of the town. He knocked on the door violently. The door opened revealing Maddison. Leopold was happy to see her. He hugged her and explained why he left and what he heard about the town. Maddison explained a man came to the town searching for Leopold to take Leopold's powers. The man sucked everyone's body into a mirror and ran away. Maddison got out of town in time.  

Leopold knew exactly who Maddison was talking about, it was Eden. Eden was a man who Leopold met in one of the towns he traveled to. Eden was interested in Leopold's powers for all the bad reasons. Eden loved to play with dark magic. He craved power and dictatorship. Leopold knew where Eden was located, a large cave deep in the woods.

Leopold hated to use his powers on people no matter if they were evil or not, so he packed a sword and shield. Leopold and Maddison headed to the woods.
