This book is about a heroic, yet compassionate and caring polar bear. He helps a baby seal that is lost and they go through many adventures together. This book demonstrates how you should always be willing to help somebody in need and to have courage and bravery.

One sunny afternoon, Benjamin the polar bear was taking a stroll. He lived in the South Pole where it was very cold and icy. All of a sudden, Benjamin hears a faint crying sound in the distance. He wanders towards the noise to see who was so upset.

Once he got there, he realized a baby seal was all alone! The seal was all fluffy and was as white as the snow. He gazed up at Benjamin with his big, longing, and sad eyes.

"What's the matter little seal? And what's your name?" asked Benjamin. "My name is Liam. I don't know where my mama and papa are!" replied the baby seal, crying. "Oh, it's okay Liam. My name is Benjamin, you can trust me. I will help you find your parents."

And so they walked and searched for Liam's parents. One time they came across a family of seals, but it was sadly not Liam's family. They kept looking until the sun went down and it was time to take a break and rest.

"Where are they? I miss my mama and papa so much!" wailed Liam. "I'm not sure, but don't lose hope. We will find them Liam" comforted Benjamin. And so the two of them curled up next to each other and fell fast asleep.

When Benjamin awoke to the sunrise, he was startled when he saw something terrible happening! Liam was floating away on an iceberg the broke in half. "Oh, no!" Benjamin shouted. "What is it?" questioned Liam realizing what was happening as he said it.
