To the hands who can change the future of our Planet Earth.

The oceans cover 71% of the Earth's surface and are home to more than 1 million animal species.
Today we will meet a few of our ocean friends and learn some fun facts on the way!

Clown Fish
You can find me swimming in the warm waters of the Indian and Pacific oceans. When I'm not swimming, you can find me resting in my home, the sea anemone.
I live in many types of habitats including tide pools and coral reefs. I don't have a backbone, which makes me part of a group called invertebrates. My favorite things to eat include snails and oysters.
Sea Star

Green
Sea
Turtle

I'm the world's largest species of hard-shelled sea turtle. You can find me along the coastline of more than 80 countries! Females go back to where they were born to lay their own eggs.
Blue Tang

I go by many names including regal tang and blue surgeon fish. You can find me in warm waters eating algae off coral reefs. My job is to eat as much algae as I can so corals can breath. Without me, coral reefs wouldn't exist.
Jelly Fish
I have drifted along ocean currents for millions of years. You can find me in warm and cold waters. I come in many colors including orange, yellow, brown, and blue. My tentacles trail behind me and sting prey.

Giant Clam
I live in the same spot on the reef my whole life. I can live 100 or more years and weight more than 500 pounds! Sometimes I get so big that when I close my mouth, I will spit water all the way to the ocean's surface!

Great
White
Shark
When a baby shark is born it is 5 feet long! Adult sharks can be over 20 feet long and weight over 2.5 tons! I have up to 300 teeth that help me catch my prey. My favorite food includes sea lions and seals.

Octopus
You can find me swimming in all of the world's oceans. I'm famous for my bulging eyes, rounded body, and eight long arms. I have 3 hearts, 9 brains, and blue blood. I can change color when communicating with other octopuses.

Seahorse
I get my name from the shape of my head. I can be seen in the world's tropical and temperate coastal waters. I have a curled, flexible tail that can grasp objects to anchor myself to vegetation. Male seahorses carry and give birth to baby seahorses!
