Our project aims at learning jobs, places and actions related to jobs. We want our students to learn English by preparing games and activities and working collaboratively. We want our students to improve their English language skills about jobs. They will be able to know jobs, workplaces and verbs related to the jobs. They will also be able to prepare games and activities and share them with other schools. They will also improve their self confidence and they will be able to present their works. We also want them to be open for new ideas and think creatively. Our project aims at teaching jobs and job related words using web tools.

In October, we will choose jobs to teach and present to our students. After that our students will do some research and present them in class.

In November, our students will prepare games and activities to share other schools. Students will also work in groups from different schools.

At the last week of November, teacher will evaluate the project and students will introduce our project to their friends. We wrote a short story.

We got to know the profession of a carpenter. Our guest presented his work in an interesting way, introduced the tree to the plant, introduced us to the machines and necessary carpentry tools, and showed how carpentry works are created. Preschoolers have learned many new names and concepts. They learned that this work is very difficult and dangerous, but also very interesting.

Elżbieta Dziub - Szkoła Podstwowa w Liszynie

Our primary school is situated in Liszyno, a beautiful village just a few kilometers from Plock, a city in central Poland. There are 8 classes, students start their education at the age of 7 and finish at the age of 15.

Here we are, learning the vocabulary connected with jobs.

The project "What do you want to be?" is a perfect idea for our 2nd class students to expand their vocabulary, learn new skills and cooperate with students from other countries.
