To the Brethren,
The Bible said, "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first," 2 Thesallonians 2:1-3, KJV.

...in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1 Timothy 4:1
...time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2 Timothy 4:3-4
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:11
Aren’t we believers of Jesus Christ waiting for the day of Christ? Aren't we waiting and looking forward at the blessed hope of the day that He is coming again?
Aren't we waiting for the day of the Lord where He is going to resurrect all the dead in Christ and to change in a twinkling of an eye those who are still alive at His coming, and gather us all in the clouds to meet Him in the air?
Aren't we warned to let no man deceive us by any means: for that day shall not come- (what day?)- that glorious day we are looking forward to, the coming of the Lord, don't we read it in the Bible that that day does not come except there come a falling away first?
Who do you believe? The Bible? or the Bible teachers who are deceiving and are deceived themselves. Let the Bible interpret itself, let's compare scriptures with scriptures.
Scriptures says, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God,” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4,
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world,” Revelation 13: 7-8.
When things are falling away, they are not going up. When leaves are falling away from the trees, they are not going up, they are going down, they may linger in the air for a little while, but they all end in the ground, they are detaching from the branches of the tree that holds them or support them, they are breaking off from the fellowship with the branch that attach them to the tree that gives them life.
WHAT IS FALLING AWAY?
The gathering, the coming of the Lord (the event they call rapture) doesn’t happen except the falling away from the faith happens first. The day of Christ does not happen except apostasy happens first, the departing from the true faith and being deceived by false prophets. The false brethren are leaving the faith in droves.
The great tribulation is going to shake up Christianity and the false brethren are going to fall away. They will not endure sound doctrine, they will not endure the truth and hard preaching. They will not abide on the words of Jesus. They will not abide on the true Jesus of the Bible. They will flock to the Christ of the new world order who approves of their sin, and approve all ungodly things and wickedness in the name of love and acceptance.
The apostle John wrote, “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us,” 1 John 2:18-19.
The apostle Paul wrote, "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;" 1 Timothy 4:1-2.
2 Timothy 3:1-5, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry."
-2 Timothy 4:3- 5
"All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."
-2 Timothy 3:12-13
“And now little children, abide in Him, that when He shall appear, we may have confidence and be not ashamed before Him at His coming.”
1 John 2:29
Jesus said, ”I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing,” John 15:5
Let no man deceive you by any means, by spinning words and misinterpretation and misrepresentation and twisting of the word of God.
There is only one rapture, it happens at the second coming, after the tribulation when “the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other,” Matthew 24:29-31.
There is only one first resurrection of the dead, it happens at the rapture, where if you are a part of it, blessed are you for the second death shall have no power over you but you shall be one of the priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years, (Revelation 20:5-6). You be ruling with Him in the millennial kingdom. And you are part of the royal priesthood, an holy nation, a chosen generation, peculiar people showing forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness unto His marvelous light, 1 Peter 2:9-10. This is what you are saved for. To rule and reign with Christ a thousand years in the millennial kingdom, a thousand years of peace on earth where Jesus is King and Lord and you are a priest of God, or ruler of tens cities or nations under His authority and He will rule and judge the nations with a rod of iron.
There is no word "rapture" in the Bible. What you called rapture is the the gathering of believers, or of the elect, at the coming of the Son of man, or the coming of the Lord. We are not waiting for something that is not mention in the Bible, we are waiting for the resurrection of our brethren, and the transformation of our vile bodies into glorious immortal bodies at the Lord’s return, at His coming again, at the day of the Lord that comes like a thief in the night, the blessed hope where He will resurrect all that are His and change the mortal bodies into immortal and gather us to heaven, after the tribulation before He pour out His wrath on the earth. There is no pre-tribulation coming of the Lord, or pre-tribulation resurrection, or pre-tribulation gathering.
Sorry to burst your pre-trib bubble but there's no word rapture in the bible. What we'll have is called the catching up at the coming of the Lord and our gathering together unto Him. Our gathering and meeting with the Lord is going to happen at the Day of Christ, also called the Day of the Lord, which comes like a thief in the night. They're simply called the coming of the Lord.
His first coming was when He came as a baby in a manger (the Christmas story) to live a sinless life we could never live, then to pay for our sins by death on a cross, then be buried and then rise again bodily on the third day, and then go back to heaven, prepare a place for us, and then come back a second time to get us so that where He is, there we may be also.
So what we are really looking forward is His coming again, His great appearing in the clouds, His second coming and visitation to earth to gather all the old testament believers of Messiah/Christ and the new testament believers, both those who are asleep and those who remain alive during the great tribulation. This is also called the first resurrection which is blessed are you if you are a part of this because the second death has no power on you. This is also called the day of the Lord which comes like a thief in the night for those who are not prepared and are not watching but for those who are watching, this is the blessed hope, the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
Rapture happens at:
The coming of the Son of Man (Matthew 24:27, 37, 39)
The Blessed First Resurrection (Revelation 20:5-6)
The coming of the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:17)
The day of the Lord [that comes like a thief in the night] (1 Thessalonians 5:2, 2 Peter 3:10)
The Day of Christ (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
The gathering of the elect (Matthew 24:29-30)
The gathering of the brethren (2 Thessalonians 2:1-2)
The Coming of the Son of Man (Matthew 24:29-30)
The blessed Hope, the Glorious Appearing (Titus 2:13)
The day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30)
The day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6)
The day approaching (Hebrews 10:24-25)
The coming of the day of God (1 Peter 3:12)
But before the coming of the Lord is the great trial of our faith, the great tribulation. What is the great tribulation? The great tribulation is the devil persecuting the people of God, the believers of Jesus Christ. The great tribulation is the time when the devil being wroth with the saints is allowed to make war with the saints. It is the devil through the AntiChrist and his false prophets and citizens afflicting God's people, putting them in jail and putting them to death for their faith in Christ and for the word of God.
This happens at the opening of the 5th seal of the book of Revelation chapter 6. Many Christians will be martyred. If God will not shorten the days of the great tribulation, no flesh would be saved, no Christians would be left alive. But for their sake, God will shorten the days of the great tribulation.
The coming of the Lord will shorten the days of the great tribulation. Jesus will come immediately after the tribulation and the rapture or the gathering of the saints, dead and alive, will take place. The Bible said, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days when you see the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." Matthew 24:29-31.
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord,” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.
“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory,” (1 Corinthians 15:52-54). Death will have no more sting, the second death cannot touch you anymore, coz you shall be immortal, incorruptible.
