Chapter 1: How the Diamonds Arose
Once upon a time, there was a town called Rarity Rural, where a mine with thousands of glimmering diamonds sat across the fields. In Rarity Rural, the mine was not the only one. There were hundreds of diamond mines over the biggest hill.
But it was said that anything that reached the top of the hill would turn into an evil, talking, walking menace. All Rarity Rural citizens avoided the hill at all costs. So the citizens of Rarity Rural tried to overthrow the diamonds while trying to block off the hill with metal bars.
Soon, the diamonds had formed an alliance with the emeralds at the nearby town Emerald Fields; soon Rarity Rural was overthrown.
The citizens fought the diamonds by putting them back in mines, but it looked like all hope was lost.
Chapter 2: The Present Day
I got out of bed at three in the morning, watching a faint glow from the side of the tallest hill. Me, being obsessed with diamonds, got my $1000000 diamond costume on and jumped out my second-story window. I landed on the fragile grounds of Rarity Rural with a bang. “Soft as a mattress,” I said.
Running up to the hill, I said, “Am I late?” The diamonds all looked at me like I was crazy. “Yes, you are late!” said a middle-aged diamond, peering at the costume’s eyeholes. “AHEM!” said a diamond standing on a pedestal.
“We don’t want you yet,” said the middle-aged diamond, eyeing my costume. “You are big for a diamond. Beware, the miners treat us like slaves, selling us from place to place for millions of dollars. And you, well, a diamond that big could sell for a billion! Don’t come into sight of any miner, or human period.”
Chapter 3: The Diamond’s Speech
“AHEM!” said the pedestal diamond once again. “I am here to tell you an important nugget of diamond wisdom that you must know to become a wise diamond like me. You must know that we must fight back! We must not be sold! We are living things too, and we cannot be taken and put on a truck with some millionaire that just went bankrupt! WE MUST FIGHT BACK-”
Suddenly, a man in a golden car seized the old diamond and threw him in the car. The man started the engine and drove away. As he drove through hill after diamond-filled hill, the old diamond screamed “WE MUST FIGHT BACK! WEEEEEE MUUUUUSSST FFFIIIIIGGGGHHHHTTT BAAACCCKKKK!”
