different destinations that are very unique . I

Star HE0107-5240The oldest star , HE0107-5240 was discovered
by Norbet Christlieb , and it is said to be
virtually metal free . It lies in the outer
reaches of the milky Way . He says it is about
36,000 light years away . It is said to be 14
billion years old .

Sirius A , a white dwarf , is said to be the
brightest star in the Milky Way's night sky. It is
twice as big as the Sun . It can be found low in
the southern sky all the way to northern
hemisphere .

The Trifid Nebula The Trifid nebula is a cluster of unusual stars.
The purplish section ,an emission nebula and
the top blue section a reflection nebula. Th
dark nebula is what causes this to have the
name " Trifid ." This nebula was found using
the hubble space telescope in 1997.

This is the Lagoon Nebula. The color shows
that the nebular gas is being illuminated from
burning hot stars from the color red. This star
is one of two of the only nebulae in our galaxy
that can be barley seen by the naked eye. It
was discovered by Guillaume Le Gentil in 1747.

The planet Neptune, is the coldest and farthest
planet in the galaxy. It is the smallest of the
gas giants being only 24,764 km round.
Galileo was the first person to see Neptune
although he had no idea what it was. Also,
Neptune's moon is even colder than Neptune
itself !
