My First Day of School!

ABCs

A is for Alarm!

I hop out of bed! Today is my first day of school! I dash downstairs!

B is for Breakfast!

My mom has already made pancakes for me. I hurry and eat! It's almost time to leave!

C is for Clothes!

I can't decide what to wear. Should I wear the blue, green, or pink striped shirt?

D is for Drive!

I hop in the van! It's time to go to school! I can hardly wait!

E is for Elementary School!

We pull up to school! The bus is here. It is yellow just like the school!

F is for Friends!

I meet all the new kids in my class. My friend Noah likes to run and play just like me!

G is for Games!

My teacher Mrs. Smith lets us play outside! We play catch with the pretty pink ball.

H is for History!

My first subject of the day! I learn about the big green mitten Michigan!

I is for Igloo!

Our word of the day! I learn that Igloos are made out of ice and are very cold.

J is for Juice!

Our morning snack. Mrs. Smith lets us drink outside!

K is for Kangaroo!

I learn about Kangaroos and their pouches. I draw a kangaroo with red gloves in my notebook.

L is for Lunch!

I eat lunch outside in the sunshine! After lunch, I play tag with Noah and Arthur.

M is for Math!

After lunch we learn ABC, 123. I practice drawing my numbers!

N is for Nap!

After a morning of fun, I am growing tired. Mrs. Smith plays music while I close my eyes.

O is for Outside!

Recess is so much fun! I run and climb! I jump and hop! I kick and throw!

P is for Paint!

I paint my mom and dad during art class! I learn about the primary colors - red, green, and blue!

Q is for Quiet Time!

I have free time in class! But shhh, It has to be quiet. I read some books and draw in my notebook.

R is for Reading!

After quiet time, Mrs. Smith reads a story to us! She lets us look at the pictures one by one.
