12:00-Lisa LaBarbera was living a normal life.  Then, it all changed.  She was diagnosed with cancer in 2009.  Ever since that day, it was a painful ten years.  If she wanted to get rid of it, she would have to fight them on her own.  Little did anyone know that this humble 55 year old cancer victim was about to become the Cancer Smasher.

    1:00-It was 1:00 in the afternoon.  Lisa was making lunch.  Then the doorbell rang.  When she opened the door, there was a telephone on a small wooden table. 

Shortly after she saw it, it rung.  She answered it.  A mysterious voice on the other end said: "Lisa LaBarbera, come to 99 Sycamore Street for more information.  This phone will self-destruct in 3 seconds.  In a flash, she threw the phone in the air and it exploded almost immediately.

    Now, Lisa was a practical woman.  She thought it was strange for someone to leave a self-destructive phone that she barely had time to throw.  She decided that she would go, but she needed some help.

    2:00-Jeremiah, Lisa's son, was playing Fornite on the couch.  "Jeremiah," said Lisa, "can you come with me on a mission?"  "I don't know," said Jeremiah.  "It is Saturday, which is a day I've declared a day of rest.  Plus, I have 17 kills!  This is the most I’ve ever gotten in a solo Fornite game!  I'm in top 4!"

"Look said Lisa, "If you come with me, I'll buy you $100 in VBucks."  That got Jeremiah's attention.  "OK, I'll go.  I just killed 2 people.  One is on 10 health.  And, let's go!  20 kills!  Let's go on that adventure!"

    3:00-The 2 adventurers go to 99 Sycamore Street.  They knock on the door.  A man, wearing black jeans and a black leather jacket that looked like it went out of style a year and a half ago, stepped out.  He told them to go in.  He explained that he was the one who left the phone out.  He also added that all the things he told them were all legit.

    He introduced himself as Dr. Frederick De'Angelo, Phd.  He said that he has been monitoring their lives since Lisa was diagnosed with cancer.  "There is a way to get rid of it," he explained, "But it is very dangerous.  You will have to travel inside Lisa's body and get rid of the bugs.  This might sound crazy, but Lisa can go inside her own body".

Lisa and Jeremiah accepted the challenge, and with that, Dr. Fred zapped them to microscopic creatures and guided them into Lisa's body.

    4:00-It was dark in Lisa's body.  It also stank.  "P.U., mom!," said Jeremiah.  "What have you been eating?"  They were in the nose.  They continued down the nostrils until they came to the tube that led to the stomach.  They decided to slide down the tube.  They got off when they reached the kidneys.  When they did, what they saw made them stop dead in their tracks.  There they saw 4 cancer bugs.  Jeremiah faced the bugs, and the bugs did the same.  They charged at Lisa.  "Nothing scares  me!," said Lisa.  "Bring it on!"

    In a flash, she whipped around the bugs and took out her bow and arrow, while Jeremiah took out his laser rifle.  Lisa shot one right off the bat.  Bullseye!  Jeremiah hid behind a rib and blasted two of them, but the last one hit him with a slime ball.  He stood back up, all stinky. 

"You're going to get a good scrubbing when we get out of here," said Lisa.  "Well, you still owe me $100 in VBucks when we get home," Jeremiah replied.  Then Lisa shot the last one.  They had won the battle.

    5:00-The 2 adventurers headed down to the main cancer source, the lower kidney.  When they were about to reach it, Jeremiah said, "Do you get the feeling that we're being followed?

"Not really," said Lisa,  "I just feel like I need to eat less vegan stuff.  It stinks in here!"  Then they came to the kidney and started to prepare for battle.

    First, they made sure they had enough ammo.  Lisa was good, but Jeremiah was pretty low on battery for his laser rifle.  He opened up his backup battery packet and recharged his rifle.  Then they took a snack break.  They ate and drank very well.  They hadn't eaten all day.  While they were eating, the rest of the army of cancer bugs ambushed them.

    6:00-Lisa and Jeremiah ran away.  The leader bug hit Lisa with a ball of sticky saliva.  Lisa was stuck. Jeremiah raced back and got 3 bugs with his laser. Then he unstuck Lisa by using the "Heat" feature on

his laser.  Then, they ran away.  But what happened next is when disaster struck.

    The most powerful bug hit Lisa with a goo ball.  She fell to the ground, all sticky and in pain.  "Mom!" Jeremiah yelled.  "Help!," screamed Lisa.  "Okay, bugs.  That is the way we're going to do this? Okay.  This is going to get ugly.  Mom, close your eyes."  Jeremiah held the trigger on his laser.  He got down 6 of them.  "Only 12 more to go," he said.  He unstuck Lisa, then gave her his laser.  "Mom, press and hold the trigger for 5 seconds on the "Shockwave" setting.  It will be over if you do it right".  "Okay, whatever you say, son," said Lisa.  She held it for 5 seconds, then let it go!
