One night, my mom, little brother, sister and I were relaxing at home after being out all day.

We were all tired and decided to watch a movie before bed time.

While we were watching the movie my mom slipped away to use the bathroom. Before she left she said, "Elijah, you are in charge of your brother and sister..." I looked to her and replied, "Yes mam!". 

While my mom was away, my little brother got up and started walking towards the kitchen, my sister followed. After a few minutes, I thought they were taking too long in the kitchen. I thought this was suspicious. I got up to check on them.

When I got to the kitchen, my brother was pushing a chair towards our open pantry. Now, I did not know what he had in mind, but as a big brother, I helped him. My sister held one side of the chair and I held the other while my brother stood on the chair.

Zeke (My brother) reached for a can of Nesquik that my mom had specifically told us not to touch. As the older brother I thought, this isn't good, but as the kid that I am, I thought.. I want chocolate!

Zeke gave the can to Lisa (my sister) and I helped him get off the chair. The good kid in me thought that my mom may be very upset if I let my siblings eat this before dinner. I decided that I should take the can away from them. I tried to take it away but my sister started to cry and Zeke yelled, "NO Lijah!".

They didn't understand what I was trying to do and we started to fight for the can. As we were fighting the lid popped off the can and.. the Nesquik powder went everywhere!

I closed my eyes and when I opened them, there was Nesquik Dust everywhere!

 Zeke and Lisa laughed and had huge smiles on their faces! I looked at them and laughed!

There was a lot going on between the spill and the laughter. I forgot that my mom had put me in charge. I loved seeing Zeke & Elisa so happy. I joined in the fun!

Little did I know, my mom was on her way back from the bathroom...

We were having so much fun when suddenly,  "AAAAAHHHHH!", my mom screamed. 

I looked up and saw her surprised face staring down at us. I froze and did not know what to do.
