Once upon a time there was a boy named Timmy. He struggled in school and his parents were very strict, less than an 95 would be unacceptable.

One day he was very upset because he got a 65 on his Social Studies quiz. He needed a way to not let his parents find out. Meanwhile he didn't know what to do.

Timmy went to his grandma in confusion and asked her for advise. She responded with,"You need to be wise about your decision." He said,"Grandma can you tell them for me?" "No honey, I'm busy making Kente Cloth."She replied.

One day his mother was browsing through Instagram, when she sees an email which said "Your son failed his Social Studies quiz, and there are no retest days because you can not retest a quiz.

Right as she saw the email, she shouted,"TIMMY!" Timmy quickly came and his mother asked if it was true, still having it hard to believe that this happened.

She didn't know what to say. She finally thought to herself that he has to work in the family business. He

screamed"NO" at the top of his lugs already dreading the process. As she gave him the look he immediately said "I'll do it".

His grandma started talking about the Kente Cloth, and this is what she said, "Kente Cloth is a type of silk and cotton fabric made of inter woven cloth strips". She told many stories about Akan Ethenic groups Ghana. ( the group was made of two)

She goes on about how is varies in complexity and includes many different colors for example; black represents, Africa and maturity, blue represents, harmony and peace, and gold that represents, royalty. ( there are many more)
