Where Jose Altuve Came From

Jose Altuve was born on May 6, 1990 in Maracay, Venezuela. He moved to the United States in 2006 when he was 16 years old. He met his idol when he was 7 years old. His idol was Salvador Pérez, who was a professional baseball player catcher. In Venezuela he tried to play baseball but there were limited resources to play baseball. He realized that kids in Venezuela did not have the money to afford all baseball equipment. He wants kids to have baseball equipment in Venezuela. He knows what it is like to have limited resources.

Problems Jose Altuve Had To Face As A Kid

The problem Jose Altuve had when he was a child is that he got rejected from baseball because of his height. But he learned not to give up. When he tried to play for a professional baseball team the team thought he was lying about his age. The team thought he was too small to be that age and to be good at baseball. He wants to help kids in Venezuela and pay for their equipment. He has made his own organization to help these kids. He has donated lots of money to help young kids not worry about the price. He had to go through a lot of things to be here.

How Jose Altuve got into the foundation is he wanted to give younger kids in Venezuela a chance to play baseball. He wants to help his teammates with charity and give more people opportunities.He also helps the community by hosting charity events and giving money to charities. He is a very kind person. He wants to help kids play sports anywhere in the world. He was rejected in baseball but he never gave up. He also helps people in Venezuela and gives them food. He likes to help kids play baseball in poor environments.
