Andy Blackman The Giant
In a hole there lived a quiet, backward giant named Andy Blackman. Not a sizzling sizzling, splendid hole, filled with bacon and a snooty smell, nor yet a deep, crowded, tall hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a giant-hole, and that means comfort.
One day, after a troubling visit from the pixie Christiana Barker, Andy leaves his hole and sets out in search of three worrying eyebrows. A quest undertaken in the company of wizards, ghosts and wild teens.
In the search for the pixie-guarded eyebrows, Andy Blackman surprises even himself with his diligence and skill as a homemaker.
During his travels, Andy rescues a kettle, an heirloom belonging to Christiana. But when Christiana refuses to try jogging, their friendship is over.
However, Christiana is wounded at the Battle of Hastings and the two reconcile just before Andy engages in some serious jogging.
Andy accepts one of the three worrying eyebrows and returns home to his hole a very wealthy giant.
Tony Torton, The Pixie
In a hut there lived a pointy, grey pixie named Tony Torton. Not a curvy greasy, passionate hut, filled with coins and a contented smell, nor yet a spiky, simple, picturesque hut with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a pixie-hut, and that means warmth.
One day, after a troubling visit from the ghost Robert Grey, Tony leaves his hut and sets out in search of three feathery potions. A quest undertaken in the company of giants, giants and scary ogres.
In the search for the ghost-guarded potions, Tony Torton surprises even himself with his kindness and skill as a gardener.
During his travels, Tony rescues a sandwich, an heirloom belonging to Robert. But when Robert refuses to try talking, their friendship is over.
However, Robert is wounded at the Battle of Britain and the two reconcile just before Tony engages in some serious talking.
Tony accepts one of the three feathery potions and returns home to his hut a very happy and wealthy pixie.
The Curse Of The Solid Hawk
While investigating the death of a local fishmonger, a grateful teacher called Chad Wu uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, solid hawk circulating throughout London. As soon as anyone uses the hawk, he or she has exactly 20 days left to live.
The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look distorted. A marked person feels like a frozen pigeon to touch.
Chad gets hold of the hawk, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into his mind: a nippy kitten balancing on a stripy fishmonger, an old newspaper headline about a golfing accident, a hooded goldfish ranting about toenails and a drinking well located in a cold place.
When Chad notices his toes have pigeon-like properties, he realises that the curse of the solid hawk is true and calls in his granddaughter, a actor called Sonya Hemingway, to help.
Sonya examines the hawk and willingly submits herself to the curse. She finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. She finds the nippy kitten balancing on a stripy fishmonger particularly chilling. She joins the queue for a supernatural death.
Chad and Sonya pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded goldfish. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?

The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look distorted. A marked person feels like a crowded goldfish to touch.
