DISNEYLAND-LOS ANGELES:

Disneyland is an amusement and adventure park in Anaheim, California. It is the first of two theme parks built at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. The second is California Adventure Park. It was founded on July 17, 1955 by American animator and filmmaker Walt Disney. Walt Disney created the Disneyland concept after visiting several amusement parks with their daughters Diane and Sharon. Disney bought an area of 160-acre near Anaheim in 1953 after hiring a consultant to help determine the proper location for his project.

Construction began in 1954 and the park was declared at an "International Press Preview" event held on Sunday, July 17, 1955, which was open only to invited guests and the media.

The park opened with Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland. Then New Orleans Square in 1966, Bear Country (now Critter Country) in 1972, Mickey's Toontown in 1993, and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in 2019 were added.

GALATA TOWER: (İSTANBUL) 

Galata Tower is a tower located in the Galata district of Istanbul. The building, which was built in 528, is among the important symbols of the city. From this tower, the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn can be viewed panoramically. UNESCO included the tower in the World Heritage Tentative List in 2013.

Galata Tower is one of the oldest towers in the world and it was built by the Byzantine Emperor Anastasius in 528 as the Fener Tower. The tower, which was extensively destroyed during the Crusade, was rebuilt in 1348 by the Genoese in addition to the walls of the Galata, using massive stones . When it was rebuilt in 1348, it became the largest building in the city. The tower was renovated and repaired almost every century after it was conquered by the Turks. It was used as a shelter for the Christian prisoners of war, operated in the shipyards of Kasımpaşa in the 16th century.

Sultan III. With the permission of Murat, a observatory was established here by the astrologer Takiyüddin, but this observatory was closed in 1579. In the first half of the 17th century, in the period of IV.Murat, Hezarfen Ahmet Çelebi, after collecting winds in Okmeydanı and performing flight exercises, flew to Üsküdar-Doğancılar from Galata Tower in 1638 by placing eagle wings made of wood on his back. This flight was received with interest in Europe, and engravings showing this flight were made in England.

The tower had been used as a fire watchtower since 1717. The fire was reported by playing a large drum so that the public could hear it.
