‒ I entered the school a minute ago. Now I am standing on the corridor on the first floor. Where is the cloakroom? ‒ asked the Monkey.
‒ The cloakroom is under your feet ‒ said the Cat, who was sitting on a big red notebook.
‒ How do I get there? ‒ asked the Monkey.
‒ You should go back to the hall, then go downstairs and go straight on ‒ said the Cat.

The Cat opened his notebook. He showed the Monkey plans of the first floor and of the basement floor.

‒ What are you doing here? ‒ asked the Cat. ‒ The students and teachers work in their homes. At the moment it is safer for people not to meet ‒ he said.
‒ I am an actor. I got an invitation to play in the school theatre. I can wait here ‒ said the Monkey.
‒ Good. I can tell you how to get to the right room ‒ said the Cat.

‒ Where is the wardrobe? ‒ asked the Monkey.
‒ It is in the basement, under the kitchen. You have to go along a narrow corridor on the left, go past the workshop and go through other rooms ‒ said the Cat. ‒ You have to open many doors ‒ he added.

‒ You said "under the kitchen". How do I get to the kitchen? ‒ asked the Monkey.
‒ Yes, welcome to the kitchen. From the first floor you have to go to the dining room on the left. The kitchen is behind the dining room. From the wardrobe you can go upstairs right into the kitchen ‒ said the Cat.
So they both went to the kitchen to eat this and that.

Then they came back to the corridor on the first floor. The Monkey asked ‒ where is the gym?
‒ You have to go to the staircase on the right. Then go downstairs, turn left, go along the corridor. It is at the end of the corridor ‒ said the Cat.
So they both went to the gym. They played basketball. The Monkey was the winner.

After playing basketball the Monkey and the Cat came back to the staircase. They went upstairs to the top floor. They were three floors higher, on the third floor. They looked through a window at the school park. It was a beautiful sunny day.
Then they went through the classroom in the middle of the corridor.

‒ I can show you a skeleton ‒ said the Cat to the Monkey.
They went along the corridor to the classroom at the end. The plastic skeleton stood in the corner. The Monkey came in behind the skeleton. He moved its arms. The Cat was scared. He jumped under the teacher's desk. In the end, both of them laughed.

From the classroom, the Monkey and the Cat went to a staircase. They went downstairs to the second floor. They played table tennis in the corridor for several minutes. Then they sat on a sofa.
‒ The stage is on the right, in front of the staircase ‒ said the Cat. ‒ There is always a curtain behind actors ‒ he added.
‒ And where do the viewers sit? ‒ asked the Monkey.
‒ They bring chairs from classrooms ‒ said the Cat.

‒ I can see the library ‒ said the Monkey. ‒ I am going to prepare my role in the library ‒ he added.
So they both went to the library. They looked at illustrations in the books. The Monkey read a book about monkeys. The Cat read a book about cats.

An hour later they went downstairs to the first floor. They went to the afterschool club for television. They watched a film about Batman from a CD. Then they looked through a window at flowers.

For the night they went to the gym. They slept on mattresses there.
The following day the Monkey started to prepare his role. The Cat studied his plans of school. The Cat said:
‒ Let's prepare a quiz about school rooms and corridors.
