My name is Sam and my favorite pet is the canary.

Its colors are usually red, orange, white, yellow or greenish yellow. Yellow is the most common, though. It is usually 10-12 centimeters tall and it lives for more than 10 years. The canary is a small songbird in the finch of Fringillidae family and it is considered a common pet particularly because of its beautiful song. It lives in a variety of different habitats such as forests, woodlands, coastlines, parks and gardens. The canary is primarily herbivore ,which means it eats plants. However, occasionally it feeds on small insects, flies and mosquitoes. It can sing very beautifully and it can be a good companion for people who can't dedicate a lot of time to their pets but who can still provide a clean environment , food and water at all times!
