We also implement the Stay In The Game eTwinning project to spend quality time during our stay at home. and we are realizing our project for teachers to learn a new dance every week, have fun and ease this stressful process a bit.

The zeybek is a form of Turkish folk dance particular to Western, Central and southern Anatolia in Turkey. All zeybek dances have a common characteristic form, but the positioning of the arms and body differ according to the different regions.

Makedonya’nın sevilen başlıca halk oyunlarındandır. (Damat Kolo) Balkan Göçmenleriyle birlikte Trakya Bölgesine yerleşmiş bir halk oyunudur. Birçok yöre düğününde sıkça rastladığımız Damat Halayı; düğünler dahil tüm eğlencelerin olmazsa olmazıdır. Damat Halayının en bilindik özelliği ağır bir tempo ile başlayıp sonrasında müziğin ritmi ile orantılı olarak figürlerinde hızlanmasıdır. Bu durum oldukça eğlenceli ve coşkulu anlar yaşamamızı sağlar.

Damat Kolo is one of the folk dance of Macedonia. The dance took place at the some time the migration of Balkans to the Thrace region. Damat Halayı is a unigue dance which is not only in weddings but also in other entertainments. The spesific feature of it is begining slow speed then increasing speed proportianaly with the music. It provides to feel enthusiastic emotions.

Horon Folk Dance

Horon is the general name for traditional folk dance played in the Eastern Black Sea Region. While Horon is indis pensable for the Black Sea people, it not only relieves people with all the nerves and stress, but also spends energy until the lost breath. It is believed that this tranditional folk dance horon, which contains all the grudge of the Black Sea, is left from the cultures of the Greeks and Genoese.

ELAZIĞ  Halay: Elazığlıların ayrıca Üç Ayak, Çabuk Üç Ayak, Ağır Üç Ayak ve Dik Halayları da vardır. Bunları 2-6 kişi oynarlar. Oyuna mendiller bayrak sayılarak tutulur. Dizler kırılır, omuzlar birbirine yapıştırılıp sıra dağlar misali Halay çekilir. Çabuk Üç Ayak'ın tasviri şudur:

Üç ayak, üç ayak üstü tiz gelsin

Mastar'dan Hazar'a toz duman olsun

Omuzlar yükselsin, kollar yükselsin

Göğüs dik, bakış ok, kaş keman olsun
