Ever since he was little, Addison loved to perform and be on stage.

He started playing with words before he understood their meanings.

Fruit and boot rhyme and so does clock and rock, car and star! So do dragon and wagon. All of those rhyme!!

The older he got, the more he fell in love with music.

On his seventh birthday he received his first rhyme book where he could write to his heart's full content.

He cherished it and took the book everywhere he went. Addison wrote down his thoughts, actions, and even described his surroundings using his five senses. He never left a word without a rhyme.

He took it to school and even rhymed his notes.

"Cirrus clouds are thin and airy.
Cumulus clouds are big and scary.
All clouds fill the sky,
But Status clouds are the most wide."

Even as Addison rode home from school, he wrote about the traffic that surrounds his yellow school bus.
"Traffic lights,
red, yellow, and green.
I like that traffic lights are warning me."

There is going to be a talent show and the winner goes to Thailand!
On the bus he heard...

After hearing this, Addison wanted nothing more than to win and go to Thailand with his family.

As he arrived home, his cats, Sophia and Leah, greeted him at the door with purrs.

Addison sat at the kitchen table, writing away in his notebook. Many ideas flourished in his head, and he sat, basking in his inspiration.

book shake,
no that's not is!
As he tried to memorize his rhymes, he became frustrated as he could not remember.
clock, monk,
nooooo that's not it
bark shark , yes I got it!!

He practiced in front of his cats to their confusion. Then they looked at him in awe, almost as though they could understand him.

Addison performed his rap to his sister and two brothers. They were very excited for him to attend the talent show and strongly believed Addison was going to win.

For working so hard, his parents rewarded him with his favorite meal, chicken!

The next day at school, Addison came across another kid named Clark, who would be rapping in the talent show. The rumor going around was Clark was going to win.
