One day, Teagan was enjoying some delicious watermelon and cheerios with her dog Slim when suddenly, she heard her sister Rhiannon scream from across the house, “Ready or not, here I come!” 

She looked at Slim with panic and said, “Hurry boy we have to hide!” They ran through the house trying to find a good hiding place, when they came across a door.

It wasn’t any regular door; it was much smaller than normal, and it was pink with a diamond handle. “I’m going to find youuuuu!” screamed Rhiannon as she got closer.

With no time left, the two of them opened the door and ran inside quickly shutting it behind them. Confused, they found themselves in a classroom, but not just any classroom, it was Mrs. Hampton’s classroom!

Teagan ran up to her and hugged her tightly. “What are you doing here?” asked Mrs. Hampton. “We had to find a hiding place so we went through this door and here we are!” said Teagan.

“Well isn’t that odd.” said Mrs. Hampton, “Go hide behind my desk and she’ll never find you!” 

Suddenly, a rat jumped out of the trash can. “Ahhh,” screamed Slim. “Wait, that’s Oreo!”

AHHHH!

“You can speak???!!” screamed Teagan. “I guess, maybe it is the magic door!” said Oreo as he jumped into Teagan’s lap and cuddled her. Teagan kissed Oreo on the check and out of the corner of her eye, saw something glowing.

Being curious of course, Slim, Oreo and Teagan moved the trash can only to expose a hidden portal. Slim looked up at Teagan and said, “Let’s go! We don’t have time, she’s coming!” Teagan picked up Oreo and put him in her shirt pocket. 

Without hesitation, they all jumped into the mysterious portal and were magically sent to a beautiful world filled with Christmas trees and presents. “Wooooooowww this is so pretty guys but where are we?” asked Teagan

Teagan was interrupted by a strange voice in the distance. “Oh, hello there travelers!” Teagan and Slim looked at each other wondering where the voice was coming from when suddenly Remi popped out from behind one of the trees.

“Remi!! What a surprise! What are you doing here?” asked Teagan. “This is my home! I live in a little house up the path, what brings you guys here?” asked Remi.

“We kind of just ended up here. Can you help us?” asked Teagan. “Oh of course! Anything for my new friends!” said Remi
