Howler monkeys live in the forests of Central and South America. They eat leaves, fruit flowers and nuts. They can live for 15 years. They are called Howler Monkeys because their howl can be heard for miles! They live in tree tops in troops of about 20. I like them because I have seen them in Mexico and heard their very loud howl!

A turtle is a reptile. Turtles are found all over the world. They can live on land and in water. Turtles eat grass, leaves, and other plants. They do not have any teeth. I like turtles because they live in a pond, and sometimes they have colorful markings on their shell. I think they would be a cool pet, and that is why I love turtles.

An Appaloosa horse is a mammal. They have spotted dots on their bodies. Appaloosa horses are 14.2 to 16 hands tall. Horses can live in a barn or in a stall and they love to go into the pasture. An Appaloosa horse eats grain, grass, and hay. They also only drink water. My fun fact is horses sleep standing up. I choose this animal because my Papa John had an Appaloosa horse, and I love horses too.

Tigers can get up to 3 meters long. They are just about 9 feet. Most tigers are orange and have black stripes; others have white fur. They have strong legs and sharp teeth for hunting. Most tigers live in Asia; others live in rain forests or cold snow mountains. They try to avoid people, but they'll only eat us if they can't find other food. They hunt at night because it's easier to blend in and find food. Female tigers normally give birth to 2 or 3 cubs at a time.

Snow leopards are Wildcats that are located in central Asia. They live in mountains and camouflage with there homes. They can weigh up to 120lbs and grow up to 7 feet long. Their thick fur allows them to live in temperatures as low as -40°F. Now that's one cool cat.

Red Pandas
Red Pandas are very cute mammals. They live in parts of Asia. Red Pandas weigh 12 to 20 pounds and are the size of a house cat. They are red with bushy tails and look like Raccoons. Scientists once thought Raccoons and Red Pandas were related but they are not. Red Pandas eat fruit and bamboo and live in dens made from bamboo. They are becoming extinct because people are cutting down the bamboo trees they live in. I wish i could have a Red Panda as a pet.
