Once upon a time, in the beautiful land of the Calacapuka planet, there lived the peaceful community of the Calacapukan aliens. The king of all Calacapukans was named Oble. The king, Oble had a son, and his name was Jerky. Jerky was so happy in his city of Cawapa and was so happy to be able to play with his friends whenever he wanted.

But one day, something terrible happened in Cawapa. They were invaded! By the ruthless and controlling Flurebagerbs!! The Flurebagerbs wanted to take over all the planets within the galaxy and they would stop at nothing to get what they wanted. This was not the first and it sure wasn't the last planet they were going to take over.

The planet became a wasteland. All Calacapukans were forced to work under very hard conditions for the Flurebagerbs. Oble knew that his community could no longer live as comfortable or as safe as they once lived before. And he knew he had to protect his son, the prince.

But dad i don't want to leave you!

Jerky times are hard right now for Cawapa so i am sending you to another planet and that is final! I will come find you when things are all cleared up here. I need to take care of our people.

Oble needed to send his son somewhere safe so he sent him to another planet in their solar system. The king sent Jerky to a planet where he knew he would fit right in, Earth. Oble just needed to get his son through the portal now and that was going to be one of the hardest parts. He was going to have to say goodbye, for a little while, to his only child.

Oble knew what he had to do to keep his son safe, even though it was a hard decision. As Oble sent Jerky through the portal, Jerky heard his dad yelling, "Don't forget to shape shift!!! I love you!". That was the last thing Jerky could hear over the loud roaring and whooshing going on around him.

School

Jerky landed in a very different place than he was used to. The land was a lot different and weird, but he knew he needed to follow his fathers advice and blend in. He thought to himself "Just what do the creatures in this weird place look like?

Luckily, he saw one of these creatures walking below him towards the building that he landed on top of and he got an idea of what they looked like.

Hey!! Kid, get off the roof! That is not okay! You have to get to class!!

School

Right after changing form, Jerky got spotted by one of the creatures. The creature looked surprised and yelled at him.

"Sorry!" Jerky responds. "At least they speak a language i know" he thought. He knew he had to go inside or the creature might know something was wrong and he wanted to be as invisible as possible. He later found out that the mans name was Janitor, and that the so called "creatures" are called humans or people! "How strange" he thought!

Jerky walked into the building he landed on top of and found out it was called "School". "What a weird name" he thought. Once inside he saw these so called "people" all over the place. He didn't know what to do so he hid in a room, until he heard a weird ringing sound that caused people to clear the walkways. He was very confused.

Once the weird dinging noise was gone and everyone had disappeared, Jerky decided to explore the building.

As Jerky was exploring the "School", he heard voices and footsteps, so he decided to hide.

Jerky listened to them talking and thought to himself, "What magnificent creatures these humans are!!!"

How do you guys think you did on that LA test?

I don't know, that last problem really stumped me

I definitely think i passed!

I definitely got 100%

Jerky watched the four people for a while until they decided to all go their separate ways.

...

okay guys we should get to class we are already late!

Okay guys see you later. Same spot for lunch?

Ya! sounds good! See you then!

As those four people dispersed, Jerky didn't realize that one of them had stayed behind. The person that stayed behind spotted him as he was on his way to keep exploring the school.

Well what am i supposed to do now, i have a free period!!!!

Jerky was very scared when he discovered that someone saw him. He got very frightened and didn't know what to do, so he went back and hid behind the wall.

The human tried to talk to Jerky but he just stayed silent and stayed back behind the a wall.

Uh Hey?! Are you new here?

The human must have realized that Jerky was new and scared.

Jerky remembered what his father told him about blending in, so he put aside his fear and came out from behind the corner.

Hey no need to be afraid. Come here, let me help you find your class.

Hello! I'm Marisol! What's your name?

Um, I'm Je- J- Jay

Jerky was nervous but he knew he would blow his cover if he didn't respond to the human who called herself Marisol. So with a shaky and quiet voice, he responded with....

He knew he had to change his name because Marisol was not a name he had ever heard on Calacapuka, so he thought Jerky was not a name heard often on this planet. Good thing he did, because Jerky was definitely not an ordinary name on Earth.
