Kate (out of breath) : We, we, we are long lost sisters!
Ann (confused): Whaaaaaaaaaat? I've NEVER had a sister before. And even if I had, my mother would have told me. Are you sure it says that?
Kate: I'm sure. See. Look it says:

You, Ann Brown and Kate are both sisters. What? How? Why, you're wondering? Well. Kate was the first born, and her mother, Victoria Brown, left her in the forest when she was born. When Ann was born, Victoria Brown never told her about Kate. She didn't want Ann to know about Kate because

Emily: Bark!
Kate: Thanks! I like the way you think.
Grandma: It took a little while to find the piece of paper, but they didn't find it in the box.
Ann: It's not in here!
Emily: Bark, bark. Bark.
Ann: I think she found something.
Kate: Is it? Is it? It is! (hugging Emily) Oh, what will we had done without you?
Grandma: The note said:

Kate: (gasps)
Ann: Whoa! I'm so sorry Kate...
Kate: (angry) No! I should of know this! Why? Why? (starting to cry)
Ann: There, there. (trying to calm Kate)
