One sunny day in Bunny Land, Easter Bunny
Cookie called all the bunnies together for a
special meeting. Cookie said, "Bunnies, I am
getting old. I need a replacement! Who
would like to take over my job?"

So will I!
I will!

I will!

I will too!

Who wants to be the new Easter Bunny?
I will!
I will!
Me too!
I will!
I will!

Each of the bunnies yelled, "I will!"
So Cookie replied, "I will pick the very best
bunny. He must be very friendly and full of
energy. Easter will be here before you know
it and I need a new Easter bunny as soon as
possible! Meet
me tomorrow in Bunny
Woods!"

Bunny Woods
What's with all these rabbits?
It's an invasion!!!

The next day, all of the bunnies came to
Bunny Woods to meet Cookie so he could
choose the new Easter bunny.

Bunny Woods
I'm going to keep my eye on these bunnies!
Okay, come with me!
Let's follow them!

Cookie wanted to go deep into the woods to
have a race. "Come with me," he said. All of
the bunnies curiously followed!

The bunnies hopped behind Cookie into

the woods until they came to a clearing.

What are they up to now?
Who knows?

"We are going to have a race! I have set up
the starting line and the finish line for you.
The finish line is at Bunny Lake," Cookie
said. "Now get into three lines."

GO!
Looks like a race to me.

"Everyone ready?" asked Cookie.
All of the bunnies yelled, "Yes!"
"Okay, I'm going to say go and I want all of
you to run as fast as you can to the finish
line! Good luck!......GO!" Cookie yelled.

Look at them go!

Those crazy bunnies sure can run!
All the bunnies raced past Cookie towards
Bunny Lake. They ran at top speed through
the forest.

Bunny Lake
This is so exciting!

It's a tie!
Soon the bunnies were at Bunny Lake. They
hopped as fast as they could. Pumpkin and
Peanut crossed the finish line first. They
had tied.

Bunny Lake

So now what?
Cookie saw Pumpkin and Peanut cross the
finish line together. Cookie could not decide
if Pumpkin should be the Easter bunny or
Peanut. They were both very friendly and
they were both full of energy.
