Cassy The Wreeble lives in Wreeblelonia with his grandfather and all other Wreebles. Wreeblelonia consists of a large cliff-boulder with steep edges. There is no way for the Wreebles to get down. Fortunately there's a forest where the Wreebles get their food.
The Wreebles have no arms or legs but they are very handy with their tail!
Besides the Wreebles on Wreeblelonia, there are few other animals. There are some caterpillars, some frogs, ladybugs and butterflies. The storks pay a visit quite regularly as well.

Grandpa Wreeble has a very nice place on top of the cliff. He often sits there to admire the sunrise or sunset. Sometimes Cassy sits down with him and together they admire the distant land that can be seen: the desert, the jungle, the river and the beautiful blue sea in the distance. The storks can go there and Cassy would also love to go. Unfortunately, Cassy has no wings.

The storks often come by to grab the frogs in Wreeblelonia to eat them as a nice little snack. Cassy gets sad whenever he sees that happening. One day Cassy has got a plan. He goes to the forest and picks the most delicious mushrooms. A little later he serves these mushrooms to the storks, and says: it is making me sad that you are always eating frogs, can't you eat these mushrooms instead? The storks give it a chance and start to eat. They love it and say: thank you Cassy! Now that we have tasted this, we don't ever want to eat frogs again, this is so much better!

The next day the storks bring back strawberries as a thank you. Cassy has never seen strawberries before. They are beautiful, red and yummy! The other Wreebles love this new fruit as well.

That evening while watching the sunset with Grandpa Wreeble, Cassy is thinking of the beautiful red strawberries from the far away land. He wonders what other good foods can be found there. As much as he likes Wreeblelonia, Cassy wants to discover the wide world. Cassy wants to go on an adventure!
He tells Grandpa Wreeble about his travel plan. Grandpa stares silently for a while and then says: Cassy, let's sleep on it. If you still really want to go tomorrow we will first study the route, that way you'll know where to go!
Cassy thinks that's a good idea. Sleep well Grandpa, says Cassy. Sleep well Cassy, says Grandpa.

The next morning, Cassy is still excited about his idea! Together with Grandpa he goes to Grandpa's viewing spot. Grandpa has made a poem that Cassy has to learn. That way, he cannot get lost.
'First you're crossing a lot of sand to make your way to the unknown land.
After that you'll cross a blue river
but be aware of the crocs - they will make you shiver!
Follow the bushtrack till the last tree, then be amazed by the wild and big sea.
The sea is dangerous though, do not make yourself wet!
And make your trip wonderful, one you will never forget.'
After learning the poem Cassy is saying goodbye to everyone. With the help of a stork, he is lifted off the cliff. Have fun, says the stork when they have reached the ground. Thanks! Cassy says.

After an hour of crawling across the sandy desert, Cassy gets a little tired. The sand is blowing in his face and he keeps sinking into it. Then Cassy meets a dromedary. The dromedary looks surprised: how nice to finally see someone again! I'm always so alone here! says the dromedary. Cassy decides to take a break. He tells about his travel plan, about Wreeblelonia and the storks. After much laughing and talking, Cassy decides that he really has to continue his trip.
