Once upon a time, there was a girl named Lina. Lina's dream was to be an author. That's why she kept a big lined notebook which she write in every day. Lina wrote about herself, her feelings, and her stories. She really enjoyed sitting down in a sunny spot and dreaming up some unknown worlds and articles.

One day, Lina was walking down the street when she saw a poster. It said: "Enter your stories today and compete for the grand prize!". Lina studied the poster and realized that she could take part and maybe win a prize. Back at home, Lina got to her desk and started to write. She had no ideas. She thought and thought and thought, and finally, she realized the she was sleepy. Lina lay down on her bed and fell asleep.

Once she woke up, Lina had tones of new ideas. She sat down at her desk, took out her notebook and pencil, and began to write.

I have tons of new ideas for a story that I am going to enter into a worldwide competition for some sort of grand prize! Here are just some of the ideas that I have:

A girl travels to a mythical world by a floatie

Someone is magical

And my hand hurts so I can't really write anymore!

I don't really want to write any more ideas, but I sure want to write about my day! So, I signed up for the competition, and I got a polka-dotted pencil! Than, I went to the cafe and got a bagel (which was my favorite flavor) and then I was walking home and saw a 20 $ bill on the ground just lying there so I picked it up... anyways, it was a very lucky day.

Oh no! Guess what? I have to enter my story only in a few days! And I don't have any winning ideas...

I have a plan: I can think of something today, and write it the next day... that will be a lot of hard work! I'm going to start thinking now.

OK. I have an awesome idea for my story... it's going to be called 'A Magic Day For Mika'. Mika is going to be a girl who has a very lucky day (just like me). She is going to discover she is magical.

Now, where will I write my story? It's very good to write in this notebook, but I will have to give the whole thing away if I do. I have an idea! I can write my story in this notebook, and than I can write a good copy on a separate lined piece of paper.

I know that every story needs a story plan, but I don't have any time to make one. My story is going to be awesome anyways.
