The rocky mountains stretch 3,000 miles from British Columbia and Alberta in Canada through Idaho,Montana, Wyoming,Colorado and down to New Mexico. The elevation of these mountains is 14,439 and the Highest Point  is Mount Elbert. These mountains formed over 80 million to 55 million years ago during the Laramide Orogeny.

The canyons are usually caused by weathering and the erosive activity of a river over time.The water pressure of a river can cut deep into a river bed. The sediments from the river bed are then carried along creating a deep narrow channel.

This is called Central Valley it's a valley that dominates the interior of California.This valley is 40 to 60 miles wide and stretches about 450 miles from north-northwest to south-southeast.The valley is inland from and parallel to the pacific ocean coast.

The Great Plains are located on the North American continent in the U.S and Canada.These plains have an area of approximately 1,125,000 square miles,this is roughly one third of the United States.It stretches out 3,000 miles from north to south and 300 to 700 miles from east to west.

Tibetan Plateau also known as Qinghai extends 965,300 miles and also has a length of 2,500 km and a width of 1,000 km . This is also the largest Plateau in the world. 

The pacific ocean is the largest and deepest of Earths  oceanic divisions.It is bounded by the continents of Asia and Australia.This ocean extends from the Arctic ocean on the north to the Southern ocean in the south.The oceans area is 63.8 million miles.

The Everglades is a 1.5 million-acre wetlands preserve on the southern of Florida.It is made up of coastal mangroves,sawgrass marshes,and pine flatwoods.The area of the everglades is 7,800 miles and the elevation is 20.01'.

The Nubian Sandstone Aquifer system is the largest known fossil water aquifer .This aquifer spans more than 2 million Kilometers across Sudan,Chad,Libya,and Egypt.It contains more than 150,000 cubic kilometers of ground water.
