Once upon a time, there was a small, hidden town named Pumpkin Hollow, where magic filled the air. Ghouls, witches, vampires, and any other supernatural creatures you could think of peacefully lived there for thousands of years. However, according to legend, in 3024, a monster had to complete three challenges listed to preserve the magic of the town.

This legend was written by an ancient witch, Bonnie Salem, who was exiled from the town after using her magic for evil. As she left, she placed a spell on the town, wanting others to lose their powers the way she did. Other witches prophesied that a young child named Franklin Frankenstein would be the only one able to reverse this curse.
Our story began on a cool autumn afternoon, approximately three days before Halloween. Young Franklin was outside playing BooScotch with his friends, when all of a sudden, a mysterious book magically appeared on his doorstep. The children ran over to examine it, and it began to yell, “Franklin Frankenstein, to save your precious town of Pumpkin Hollow, you must befriend an ogre, convince a troll to let you cross his bridge, and most importantly, steal a pumpkin on Halloween night from a ‘Karen’ without getting caught .”

Franklin's parents had prepared him for this very moment. They had explained the legend to him years ago. Franklin ran inside to tell his parents that his time had finally come, and they wished him the best of luck. He yelled to his friends, Maisie Mummy and Vaughn Vampire, asking them to come along on this eventful journey. They quickly agreed, believing that once this was over, they would be the best friends of an epic hero.
Franklin knew he had to be brave because it was not just his life on the line, but thousands of others. He carefully thought about the tasks and realized that the first two were easy. Now the third task was going to be difficult because he had heard from other ghouls about human women called “Karens” who seem to make things harder than they should be. He realized that if he was going to achieve all these tasks, then he had to get started right away.

The only ogre left in Pumpkin Hollow was a monster named Freddie. Freddie usually kept to himself, but Franklin knew that the key to Freddie’s heart was through dolls. Franklin marched up to Freddie's door with a dollhouse in tow and rang the doorbell. The lonesome ogre came to the door and answered in a growl, “What do you want kid?’
Franklin answered, “ I’m here to have some fun.”
The others stood behind Franklin, ready to make a run for it if necessary. The ogre was pleasantly surprised and invited the children in.

Hours had passed, trust was gained, and Freddie was having the time of his life with the children. Franklin realized the first task was complete and announced that it was time for them to leave. Freddie yelled,¨ "Promise you’ll come back?”
“Of course,” replied Franklin, “We’re friends now!”
Franklin, Maisie, and Vaughn continued on their journey together. Franklin felt as powerful as Bonnie Salem herself. There was no doubt in his mind that the magic of Pumpkin Hollow would be preserved.
