There has been so much going on in 2020, who knows what else is planned for us these up coming years! Like the Covid-19 pandemic, wild fires, and Pollution! So I am going to be talking about pollution. If you don't know what pollution is, it's basically the greenhouse affect. Where the warmth of the earth has different gasses in it which makes the environment unhealthy. Pollution is dangerous for living organisms ( Us humans, plants, animals ect.) along with the earth, our home. Your probably wondering how this all happens. it gets caused by the things WE do. Like fires, it affects our air, burning coal, and factories. The air it produces affects our air and causes pollution. Sometimes it can also be caused by Burning trash.

A lot of people think pollution doesn't affect us, but it does! The air affects our immune system, and our immune system is a system that helps out body fight bad bacteria that can harm us like the flue. Thats how it can harm us people, but for animals it's a different story. So, for animals like a polar bear, polar bears live in Antartica where theres a lot of ice and cold snow. The pollution is making the earth warmer, and that is affecting the cold areas! It is melting all the icebergs! Melting the snow! And separating animal families! The amount of ice is decreasing each year is leaving the polar bears with no home. Littering is also a problem! The sea animals have been eating trash that has been making them sick. A lot of sea animals are endangered because of this, all the trash goes in the ocean, and that ocean is home to millions of fishes!

We can help that by recycling! And instead of using plastic we can reduce the amount of plastic. Like plastic water bottles, use a  metal water bottle because it helps with littering! Try to re-use your grocery bags instead of just throwing them after you finish. Those bags can come in hand when you need to pack things! Thats all you need to do the save the ocean. With the three R's: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, we can save the ocean! Your probably also wondering how that can affect pollution, like I said trash is also causing pollution. So please do these things! It can help the environment so much!
