A pig named Jack lived in a small town named Mudtown. He lived in a little brick house along with his pet dog named Rufus. 

Jack lived a simple life as he always stayed inside his house. Jack was too scared to go into town as he didn’t know who he would see. He also felt that if he touched anything, he would get sick as he loved to keep things clean at his house.

Every day he had a routine to make sure his house was spotless. He would wash dishes after each meal and sweep the house two times a day!

One day Jack could no longer stay inside his house because he was out of dog food for poor Rufus! Usually, Jack would have dog food delivered to his house, but the next delivery would not come in until a week later. He knew Rufus was hungry and he could not wait that long to eat.

So, he geared up with gloves and a bottle of disinfectant and headed out the door. 

Just before getting into the town he saw a big puddle of water in his path he did not know what to do as he didn’t want to get dirty. Jack jumped with all his strength and made it just over the puddle. He looked down to make sure he was clean and to his surprise not a speck of dirt was on him. 

Jack felt triumph and felt confident when walking into Mudtown. As he was making his way into the town, he passed lots of people that he did not know he was a little scared but knew he could make it to the store and back home and everything would be okay. 

 Jack made it to the store and was excited to see all they had to offer. As he walked in, he did not notice a spill on the floor, and he stepped right in it. Jack jumped and cleaned his foot right away. 

Nearby a friendly pig named Sally came over and offered her assistance. Although, Jack was scared he agreed and took her assistance. While Jack was getting cleaned up him and Sally talked and talked. Jack was becoming more open and asked Sally if she would want to be friends. Sally laughed and said she would love to.
