When Arthur Peddingham was sailing home from the Cretian War on the island of Crete he was extremely excited to finally see his family after 3 years of fighting for Greece. He talked to his fellow crew members on how beautiful his wife and kids are.
We are never going to be separated ever again, he thought.
Arthur finally got home to his wife and kids giving them giant hugs and kisses.
As quick as Arthur got home someone started knocking on the front door, though it wasn't a normal knock. The knock seemed to be echoing
Arthur opens the door and an old man appears, the old man asks for sugar. Arthur's wife yelled out that she would go get it.
"Now that no one is around," the man said. "Let's make a deal". The old man's head bursts into flames. Arthur freaked, frozen stiff his body couldn't move.
"Let's make a deal, the fiery headed man persisted. Scared stiff, Arthur had no choice but to hear him out.
"The deal is I will give you all the money that you could ever dream, but 2 people in Greece will die." Arthur hesitates to answer but thinks There are so many people that live in Greece, what're the chances I know them?
Arthur shakes what looks to be the devil's hand and the deal is done. Arthurs gets all the cash and gold that had ever dreamed of, but someone was expected.
Arthur's children disappeared before his wife's eyes, she let out a scream. Arthur was about to attack this man but then realize that it was his own doing.
Arthur swears to fix his mistakes and get his children back. So Arthur ran all the way to Mount Olympus and took the stairway to the underworld.
It had felt as if he would be going down the staircase for eternity, but anything for his children. He finally made it to the underworld and his first obstacle is Cerberus the guard of the gates to the underworld.
He steps up to the multi-headed dog, Arthur is not dead so Cerberus plans to eat him alive. Arthur sees a giant chain on the neck of Cerberus.
Arthur runs toward the dog while Cerberus is swiping at him with massive paws. Arthur begins to climb Cerberus's fur.
