Liam’s father, George, wakes up Liam 5 minutes before his bus comes. Liam slowly gets out of bed and asks “ Why did you get me up so early?” George responded, “ You bus comes in about 5 minutes, you need to get going.” Liam said, “I’m too good for school, I don’t need to go to that junk hole.” Then his father yanked him out of bed and drove him to school. Liam was acting very malicious. Liam was being a malefactor

     When Liam gets home from school he and his father go and shoot some baskets, but first, they must defoliate the outdoor court.  And Liam says” Don’t worry Dad I never miss a basket, because I’m the best player that ever existed!” Liam projected the ball to George went over to go talk to Liam because he realized his pride was getting out of hand and he said “Son, your not the best at everything, and you’re not always going to win.” Liam threw down his red cap and ran inside extremely mad and yelled “ I’m quitting basketball”

You suck!

     Liam realized that he can’t quit basketball because his team would have to forfeit because they wouldn’t have enough people to play.  Liam had a big tournament coming up so he decided to keep practicing. Liam and George’s relationship is a disaster.  George got out of hand yelling at Liam always telling him that he wasn’t good enough, but Liam perseveres and keeps trying.

     As the days go by George keeps yelling at him and Liam is beginning to feel that his father hates him and no longer loves him. Liam is beginning to give up on his dream of becoming a big basketball star.  Liam feels rejected by his father. Liam’s emotions were everywhere.

     Before the tournament, the boys all get hyped up and Liam begins to feel like he is appreciated and loved by his team.  SInce George is a benefactor for the team he went to pay the coach and when Liam say him he went tense but then he left and they boys kept getting ready.  Liam’s team wins the game by 16 points and Liam feels great about himself.  Liam also got a promotion in basketball, since he did so good in the tournament he was able to get the position he wanted.  Later that day Liam told his father that whenever he yelled at him saying that he wasn’t enough, it made him feel really bad and he didn’t like it.

Yay! We won!

Hurrah!!!

     George had realized that he was being rude to Liam and not respecting him.
