Mike was a new boy in school. He had made many friends on his first day. Nora was Mike's sister. She was jealous that Mike had made so many friends on the first day of school. She decided to make some friends too. But Nora wanted to find a friend just like her. Unfortunately, no one was like her. This made Nora very jealous of Mike. She thought,"Mike has so many friends.I need some friends too.Hmm.I think I'll make friends with Mike's friends and soon they'll spend time with instead of Mike. Nora scurried off to find Mike's friends.

Nora found Lilly, a friend of Mike's. Nora asked, "Can I be your friend?" Lilly said, "Of course! Let's play in the playground!" Nora happily walked with Lilly to the playground. But Lilly only walked her to where Mike and his friends were playing. Nora got angry. She so badly wanted a friend but Mike always played with her and she never made friends. So Nora yanked Lilly into a different direction and said, "Lilly! Let's play on the seesaw!" So Lilly went to the seesaw and played with Nora. Nora noticed that Lilly kept trying to pull her into the direction Mike was. But Nora only pulled Lilly into a different direction.

Come on Lilly! Let's play on the seesaw!

Ok Nora! I'm coming!

Soon, Recess was over. Nora was disappointed that Lilly went back to playing with Mike. When Nora and Mike got home, Mike went out to play. Nora went to Mike's room and opened his backpack. She thought that Mike had her pencil. But it wasn't in there. Suddenly, she heard Mike coming in. She hurried out of Mike's room and went to her room. The next day, Nora went to school, making up her mind to meet Lilly and play with her. Lilly was very fun to play with. But Lilly had a cold so Nora had to play with Mike in recess.

In recess, Nora asked Mike how he makes so many friends. Mike said, "I make friends by being nice and kind to them and playing with them fairly". Nora got angry. Was Mike saying that she unkind, not nice and unfair? When recess was over, Nora got thinking. She decided to be nice, kind and fair. So the next day, she went with Lilly and met Jack, another friend of Mike's. Nora, Lilly and Jack had great fun together.
