Zoe was climbing in the mountains.  

It was cold and wet.  

As she was walking up the mountain, Zoe saw her house, then she saw the cave next to her house.  

The cave looked dark and damp and suddenly Zoe felt a little scared.

Zoe kept on going up the mountain and went into the house to calm herself down.   She made herself a drink of juice and had some lunch.  After she had finished, she felt much better.

Zoe found some dry clothes in the cupboard and put them on. 

Because Zoe was feeling very brave and happy, she decided to go walking to the cave.

Before she left her house, Zoe thought it would be a good idea to get a torch so that she could see into the cave.

When she got there, Zoe looked into the cave. 

She put the torch on and shone it into the darkness.

Then Zoe saw the dragon. It was ginormous!   The dragon had sharp, jagged teeth and a short tail. 

The short tail had a diamond-shaped tip on it and the dragon's body was very scaly. 

The scales were sparkly pink and yellow colours and the dragon had kind, blue eyes which made it look nice and friendly.

A few days ago, Zoe had seen two dragons fighting each other in the air. 

She was worried and scared that she couldn't stop them fighting. 

The dragon that Zoe saw in the cave might be one of those dragons! 

Zoe made a wish that the dragon in the cave was not hurt.

Zoe saw the dragon  sitting down 

on a fluffy blanket 

and her foot was on the pillow. 

It looked like her foot was hurt.

Zoe decided to try and help the dragon. 

She asked the dragon if it could talk to her and tell her it's name. 

Much to her surprise, Zoe heard the dragon speak in a soft, high-pitched voice. 

She said, "Hello beautiful lady. My name is Rosita the Dragon. Can you help me? Are you a Doctor, Zoe?"

Hello beautiful lady. My name is Rosita the Dragon. 

Can you help me? 

Are you a Doctor, Zoe?

Zoe said, "I would love to help you, and yes, I am a Doctor.  I think you have a graze and a splinter in your foot.  I can help you to get it out. 

I will go and get my first aid kit and come back with the tweezers and bandages. 

You should stay here in the cave, Rosita, and have a rest until I come back soon."

After a short time, Zoe arrived back at the cave and smiled at Rosita the Dragon.

The dragon felt happy and delighted because she knew that Zoe had come to help her feel better. 

If Zoe used her magic fingers to do the first aid, then Rosita would get better and could fly away.

Zoe was talking to Rosita in her cave while she was getting better. 

She told Rosita about her boyfriend called Charlie, who she was going to marry.

The friendly dragon wanted to meet Charlie. Zoe had an idea that Charlie could come to the beach at night time to meet Rosita, so no one would see the dragon and be afraid of it. 

My boyfriend's name is Charlie. 

We are going to get married soon!

When the sun went down, at about 6pm, Zoe, Charlie and Rosita went down to the golden, sandy beach.

Charlie came up with the idea that they should set up the tent and chairs for the wedding on the golden beach. 

It will look so beautiful in the moonlight. They also decided to set up a dance floor and tables for the food for their guests.

I have got some good ideas! Let's get it all ready!
