Odysseus was a great legendary man, he was happily married to
Penelope, who had gave birth to their first son Telemachus. Odysseus
was an intelligent military commander, ruler and a master of
appearance and voice. He was well known for been a great
commander and for the ten years it had took him to return back home after the
long deathly Trojan War and his famous Trojan Horse who he used to
capture the city of Troy.

Odysseus and his men lived on a island of Ithaca. He has
been away from his home ,fighting a war. After the battle between
Troy, Odysseus stated to his men " Yes finally able to sail back home."
They where pretty excited to return home, but it was going to be a
long trip that it might had taken months to get back .
During the trip Odysseus had plenty of adventures in out-taking
monsters and goddesses.

After all those crazy and amazing adventures, and seeing many
strange lands, Odysseus and his men had recked on the first island which was the
ones
of the Cyclops. One of Odysseus men stated " these is were the wild and lawless
race
of giants are!". Cyclops where giants which each of whom had only one great eye in
the
middle of their for-head.
Exploring the mysterious island , something had caught their
attention, from the distance they felt the vibration on the ground as if in
earthquake had hit the land. Trembling with fear they walked and walked
until they found a great high cave.

Entering the cave, Odysseus and his men decided to wait for the owner to
come, as time passed by he appeared. Their faces where dumb-founded on how
large and fierce he was, they would gladly had run off; but the giant decided to roll a
huge rock against the mouth of the cave so they wouldn't escape.
While the giant was gone, Odysseus decided to make a plan to escape. He had
found a stick in the cave; which he sharpened into a point and hardened it in the fire.
When the giant returned Odysseus decided to give the giant some medicine that they
had carried with them. After the giant took it, he was sleeping like a little baby,so
Odysseus took the chance on stabbing the sharp stick into his one eye to blind him.
The next morning Odysseus and his men got out of the cave and had escaped safely.

After leaving the land of the Cyclops, Odysseus decided to sail to
Aelous Island, who is the goddess of winds. Arriving their, Aelous
handed him a brown bag"This only contains the winds of heaven not
the winds that would lead you home" declared Aelous.
With the bag that was given to him, him and his men sailed for days,
until they reached a nearby land, that which he saw people on shore.
Later the night while Odysseus was sleeping, he's man where curious on
what was the great present that Aelous gave him, so they secretly opened it,
when out of the blue all the winds of heaven started leaping out from the bag.

Storms started raging above their heads, pounding as hard as knuckles hitting a
punching bag. The thunder ended up washing them away across the sea, until
they reached the island of Aeolus from which they had departed after Aeolus
decided not to help them.
Next Odysseus came to the island of an enchantress named Circe. In that land
some of Odysseus men where transformed into swine by her. But his bravery and
with the help of the god Hermes, Odysseus had declared to her to change them back into
men again. Odysseus and his men lived with Circe for a whole year, and well at last
they set to sail again."Wait!" exclaimed Circe . " You have to go down to the world of dead in
order to get safely back home."So they did.
