Introduction: Where It All Started

Hello! My name is James Smith, and I live in Plymouth. I was born in Jamestown, but due to the Jamestown Massacre, Jamestown was attacked, and we had to move to Plymouth. Here is my story about our struggles and us moving to Plymouth from Jamestown. 

Chapter 1: Life in Jamestown

Life in Jamestown was pretty difficult at first, because we arrived to America on the Mayflower, but here is how life in Jamestown was:  

Life in Jamestown was very difficult. When our family first arrived on the Mayflower, there was an endless amount of land. Everyone that came on the boat started building the colony we now call Jamestown. At first, disease and sickness spread very fast, and many people died from starvation. But after a few years, things started to go back to normal, sort of. The colony was getting attacked by Native Americans a lot, and that is my story for today. This is my story of the Jamestown Massacre. 

Chapter 2: The Day has Come

It was just a normal day. We woke up very early and started our chores. We ate our lunch like usual and continued with our chores. When the sun set, we were finished with our chores and at dinner. After that, we just went to sleep. 

The day was normal to us, and the other people in the colony. That was, until, Native Americans invaded and destroyed the colony.

Chapter 3: The Jamestown Massacre

For some reason, we were hearing sounds of a nearby fire. I just went to bed, so I wasn’t asleep right away, and so was my sister, Emma. 

“Hey Emma, I think I hear a nearby fire,” I whispered.

“Ok, we should check through the window,” She whispered back. 

We crept up to the window, and noticed some houses on fire. We then heard many screams, and noticed that Native Americans were attacking us! We told Mom and Dad right away, and they said that we have to run with them, and so we did.
