Chapter one.
LIFE
"Those dark parts in life that lead me through
God. Those little, nice things in life, that always go to waste. However I believe that through all that sadness there is a path, a path to God." The poem had finished. "Come on Michael! July, hold my hand." My Mom said with a mandatory voice. "Michael!" nothing, uncle Michael was gazed off in his thoughts. "Michael!" my Mom cried one last time.
Uncle Michael shook his head, got up, held my Mom's hand and we all walked away. The next day I woke up with the feeling that something was wrong, the urge to get up. I got up from bed and there was no one home, my Mom wasn't home and uncle Michael wasn't sitting at the table waiting for breakfast. "mom?" I shouted, "uncle Michael?" No answer. I walked around the house for a while and then I decided to dress and cut some fruits. Then I walked all the way to school. but that day was different, I wasn't paying attention to my teacher. Instead, I was just thinking about home and what was going on.
Chapter two.
DEATH
That day I came home only to find my Mom sitting down crying. "Mom?" I asked, my Mom looked up at me, "is uncle Michael gonna join us for dinner tonight?" My Mom shook her head and started cooking. So I went to my room and started playing with my new barbie dolls that uncle Michael had bought me. After that my mom called me for dinner, but today was different, me and my mom weren't trying to communicate with uncle Michael, instead it was just the two of us, sitting there miserably.
Chapter three.
THE TRUTH
The next day I woke up feeling sick and had to stay in bed. But then my Mom's X boyfriend from high school came and I heard every last thing he told my Mom, "how about you come, have a drink, forget what happened to yo-" my Mom shouted interrupting him, "my brother died because of drinking, and I don't want to follow his steps, because I have a daughter to take care of! " She was right, I started crying. After he left my Mom came into my room, "Why didn't you tell me?" tears were rolling down my cheeks.
"Tell you what July?" "That uncle Michael died!" I was crying a lot.
Chapter four.
THE CRASH
After that we where peaceful for about two weeks, but then he came back. This time with very bad intentions. He opened my room door I screamed as he graved me, my Mom screamed too. He carried me to his car but I didn't stop screaming. He turned around to tell me to stop. I screamed even louder. He turned back around and saw it,
but it was to late another car had already crashed us. I don't remember what happened next. I do remember opening my eyes and looking around, then I saw him in a bed, he was handcuffed to it he had a broken arm and his nose was bleeding, it was horrible. I looked around more and saw my Mom sitting on the floor, crying. I tried to call her, but it was useless, I was to weak and I couldn't feel my legs. Then my Mom looked at me and came to check on me. She saw me looking at her and hugged me, crying for joy "oh July!" she cried. Then I figured it out, I was supposed to be dead. I was in the morgue.
