As the evening was just about to
set, Christopher saw his friend
from
afar and called out "Augstus, Hey
Augstus". Augstus with a sharp
turn saw his friend, "Oh hello
Christopher I was just on my way
to buy Katerina a ring". Shocked
yet hurt Christopher kept a
straight
face of content while smiling at
his best friend. " Well that's
fantastic". As the two made their
way to the nostalgia shop on
campus.
The store filled with old antiques and trinkets. As they entered the store
a rusted antique typewriter caught Augstus' eye. He viewed the thing as
it had been missing from his life but with only enough money to buy the
ring for his true love he went to look for the ring. But Christopher with a
mischievous look on his face grabbed the typewriter and was able to slip
out of the store without being seen. Augstus had finally found the ring
he was looking for and he bought it and was on his way with no sign of
his best friend.

"Hello love I'm home! Look I wanted to talk about something" said Augstus
as he entered the home he shared with Katerina. "Oh please tell me it's not
true" the look of confusion on his face told the truth. "Christopher told me,
everyone is looking for you. You stole the antique typewriter for the
nostalgia shop." The look of shock on Augstus' face embraced the true
betrayal he felt. Augstus knew exactly who framed him, and with a leap he
began to run towards the headmaster's office to prove his innocence. He
arrived too late as he entered the office. The Headmaster had already
found him guilty. With that, the pain set in as he grabbed his belongings
and began a journey with the lonely ring settled in his pocket.

8 years later
He settled in a Small
town in Kansas, the
lonely writer and his
collection antique rings.
After the altercation at
the institute he became
somewhat of a hermit.
The night was beginning
to set when Augstus
stood up and reached
into the jar and took out
a brown sack. He sat
down at the table and

began to empty it. The antique rings fell out of the brown sack like a
waterfall, he began to run his fingers through them. He counted every
stone and lavished at every twinkle in the ring. The Lonely mad man with
the typewriter they called him. He was surrounded by so many people like
Hazel Pond but yet never felt more alone.

"Hey big brother" said David as
he slowly stumbled into his
brothers house. "Well I would
be surprised from a visit from
you if it wasn't that you came
to borrow money everyday"
Oliver said in a sarcastic
manner. With a lift of an
eyebrow David began to speak
"Oh wow as if I wasn't the one
hiding your little secret" Oliver's
shoulders bunched as the topic
made him uneasy." Fine what
else do you want David? "That

new car would be great". "Well, take it" Oliver said with a hint of anger in
his voice. It bothered Oliver that David held his secret marriage and child
against him. The child who he never saw sat at home with her mother
Clara. Life for the two was a constant struggle. Clara was a young girl
when she had her child but also being a constant embarrassment to her
husband took a toll on her life.

The Lamborghini sped down the
road until it came to an expected
stop, David had hit a tree! It was
a sudden shock he ran his hands
over his legs to make sure he
was okay. He stumbled out of the
car, he continued to walk and
found himself at a house with
maroon trimming. He walked
through the house and from the
corner of his eye he saw a shine.

The curiosity in him peaked as he began to walk towards the shine. He
found the antique rings that Augstus kept and in a sudden rush of
adrenaline David grabbed the sack and ran. After a quick bite at the diner,
Augstus made his way home. He walked through the front door and was
caught off guard by a ring on the ground, he picked it up. He rushed to his
collection and figured out they were all gone. In shock for a quick second
Augstus grabbed the phone is haste movement and called the police. After
searching all night the police ceased to find anything, so Augstus decided
to go to town again to see if anyone knew anything.
