Argument
An Nou Fericit!

In the winter season, it's Christmas time. We are preparing for celebrate. Every year, for more than 2000 years, we are celebrating the Child who was born in Bethlehem in a modest physical place, but with a great spiritual load. It's the Holy Child's moment!
When we are celebrating someone, we send them a symbolic gift. This year too, we symbolically we will sending a greeting card to Jesus Christ, online or through the mail, through each student and teacher who are participating in the „Cyber Christmas cards” activity. With each card made for the every students from the partner schools, we aim to bring joy to the person who will receive the card, to bring a smile on their face, a drop with happiness, contentment and harmony.
Each Christmas card made by the students from the two partner countries, Greece and România, has a sentimental value and an altruistic purpose: it has to do with the „other”, not it has to do just with my own person. I share with another person the thoughts, feelings and intention with which I give to the other person the card. When I talk with someone, verbally or in writing, I know it's not about me, it's about the other person. The other is as important as me, too!
Happy Christmas! Happy New Year!

Christmas is one of the great Christian feast of Romanians. The territory on which România is located today, belongs to the Thracian-Geto-Dacian ancestors. The etymology of the word „Crăciun" is found throughout the Balkans: serbs, bulgarians, but for albanians, the myth of Christmas is similar to that of romanians. Cultural diffusion is the main factor.
The name of the feast „Crăciun" has been preserved since ancient times, pre-Christian, and is related to the winter solstice. The Sacred Snag (Tree Branch) was lit to stimulate the weakened Sun in the cold season.
The Christmas Eve evening opened the 12-day Winter Holidays and ended on the eve of the Epiphany.
Today, Christmas is associated with the Nativity of Jesus Christ and is celebrated every year on December 25th. It lasts three days. It is a celebration of Joy, of the birth of the Holy Child in the city of Bethlehem. Christmas has to do with the Family and is celebrated with the family.
In romanian, the name of Jesus Christ is pronounced similarly as in Greek: „Ιησού Χριστό”, Iisus Hristos.
