Setting
The setting for the Vietnam War Protests was all around the United States, but it was mainly centralized on the east coast of the US. The Vietnam War Protests took place through the years of 1964 to the '70s, they ended around 1973. The protests hit mainly in larger cities and lots of colleges throughout those cities. For example cities like Philadelphia, New York, Washington D.C, etc
This picture is an example of the setting. This specific protest was in New York outside the United Nations Headquarters.

Key Players
There weren't lots of key people in the vietnam war movements. Martin Luther King, jr. was a pretty big deal though. He put out his "Beyond Vietnam" speech and this was seen by many people but not greatly supported. He talked about things that the government could do to stop the war. There was also the police that made a large impact. They had to do their job and try to keep the people from breaking the law.
This was no easy task though, lots of the people roaming the streets were going crazy and attacking the police. This made the police have to resort to being violent and using tear gas, rubber bullets and many other things to keep the people out of the way. There were also Veterans from the war that wanted things to stop and they protested as well but some of them were hated on by the people for supporting the war in the first place.
Cause of Conflict
The main cause of the conflict in the protests was the government. The government started the war with Vietnam, which caused the people to have an issue with the government. This had a domino effect, that caused all of the problems such as the protests and things that happened in those protests. The government refused to listen to the protesters and they continued to fight the war in Vietnam.
Once the protesters realized that none of their information was being received, they became furious. It caused people to break into buildings, fight the police, and fight each other over their beliefs on the war and the protests themselves. These were the only serious and important things that occurred during the protests. So, the "cause of conflict" in this movement would be the government not listening to the people and doing what they want to do only.
