Taking a look back into history, the 1920's was a
decade of countless social changes. The most obvious being the rise of a consumer set economy and of entertainment. This would bring about revolution and change upon dressing styles, hair, gender roles, etc.
Introduction

In the 1920's inventions or further development of transportation had become most efficient in daily life. These transportation included automobiles, airplanes/aircraft, railways/trains, bicycles, etc.
Although the
majority of
transportation
had been introduced to society, the 1920's was a manufacturing period for automobiles and planes.
Ch 1 Transportation



Through a man named Henry Ford,
the mass production/manufacture of automobiles were enabled by the assembly line. The assembly line would then be continued to produce a mass amount of products in a shorter time. As with planes, bikes, and railways, planes(developed by the Wright brothers) were initially used for war. While
Bikes were cheap forms of transportation and
railways helped transfer people and goods
through various locations.

Chapter 2 Inventions
Along with the developments of transportation came with the inventions which would change life. These inventions included the vacuum cleaner, which helped women who stayed home accomplish the task of cleaning much easier. Along with the television which created a huge impact, refrigerators, the washing machine, the radio, etc.






Chapter 3 Social Change/Music/Fashion
With inventions and innovations covered, it's time to focus more upon actual social change and what was gaining popularity at the time. The 1920's were around the time in which Jazz became popular. Musicians that became famous include Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Ethel Waters, and more. Their funky tunes made you wanna boogie,and would be played in clubs, on radios, etc. It was everyone's favorite.
