As she opens her sleepy eyes, Norah sees a white lamp trimmed with pink lace sitting on top of a purple wooden dresser.

To the right of it is a bed dressed in a soft, silky, shiny teal comforter. 

Her owner, Trinity, woke up and climbed out of bed then called Norah to the kitchen.

Pouring her food into her doggy bowl, Trinity exclaimed, “Today’s the day you get your check-up with the vet!" 

Norah barked, happily wagging her tail, and excited to go.

As Norah had her snack, her owner went to go get a crate.

The puppy’s ears perked up from the sound of a loud bang.

Her owner came in carrying a strange contraption. 

It was shiny, small, and box-shaped.

Norah hadn’t seen anything like it before

She watched as her owner put the crate on the ground.

Happily, Norah smiled as she walked over to the cage.

She circled the contraption, sniffing the ground around it. 

Peeking through the holes in the crate, Norah saw something move on the other side.

Her head tilted in confusion.

Then, she realized that she could see her owner's face through the other side.

She wagged her tail and barked excitedly.

Trinity congratulated her curiosity and smarts with lots of love and kisses.

“I love you, please don’t be mad”, Trinity said with a frown.

The puppy continued to wag her tail excitedly and happy, not being able to understand her owner's words.

When it came to words, the small puppy only knew “I love you” and “Come get a treat!"
